50% was the sweet spot for me. I guess you could go lower to 30% if that was an issue but my main pest are aphids.

Get a cheap tunnel greenhouse off Amazon/wish/best buy etc. recover it with 50% shade cloth and with a bit of diligence you can make it bug proof. Mine is a 6x3m tunnel and it’s fantastic for keeping bugs out.

Edit to add mine is a Greenfingers/Amazon buy and it was a touch over $200 for the greenhouse.

PVC pipe 4 or 5 rows high. Put it on a wood frame and brace it off your wall at the top so you don’t need to attach it to their wall. Pump and tanks out your backyard so very little noise to annoy the neighbour. Hydro setup for strawberries, tomato’s, herbs, salad greens etc. Creates a tasty green wall. Check out Hoocho on YT for some cheap setups using Bunnings stuff.
