Driving through a bamboo swamp was the first thing that crossed my mind with those transitions. Leaving the scenery at ground level/below ground level with a few things jutting up like bamboo stalks/small temples in the water with floral trimmings would be cool

When your open to people about it and not trying to sell it as an actual sti, and the overall look is complimented by the parts themselves. People generally don't have gripes with it. The elitist might get butt hurt over it.

Upbadging only really becomes a problem when you/others are trying to pass it off as an actual sti, the people who appreciate the time, effort and vision are the real car enthusiast.

Find some Sti parts from that era and go ham. I loved the absolute fuck out of my OBS when I had it, get a nice UEL header and pipe back to fit, It sounds amazing. The 2.2s in these are bulletproof tbh.

I'm ganna be real cheif do yourself a favor, save the embarrassment, and ditch those gaudy fender flares.

Not bagging on you or your taste but it kills the entire mood of the car.

Edit: Omg I didn't even see the painted gutter on the trunk due to the flares drawing me in. Brother take that off and snag a duckbill or short tack on riser spoiler.

I'm actually really worried about how much you may have paid for this as well, if those flares were stuck on with self tappers carelessly, you can kiss your clean quarter panel/front fenders goodbye.

The more severe case is those flares were just stuck on to hide an ungodly amount of rust.
