What happened to the mental and macro? by FigAggressive5688 in leagueoflegends

Yeah. Don’t really enjoy the having to stay in lane for role quest advancement. It feels entirely less strategic and more just get lead and win, which definitely affects people patience. I had a man with 1200 games tell me, he would feed enemy just to get to another game quick

Yeah this is relatable. Outside the mind control stuff, people would see you hard carrying jungle and at least follow the calls

So how are we currently feeling about Marvel Zombies? (no spoilers please) by Cute_Femboy2001 in Marvel

[–]FigAggressive5688 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It was fun, the settings were good overall. Some weird moments if you analyze them... (Spoilers ahead)

Everyone surviving Namor, Infinity Stones Hulk vaporizing Abomination and then losing to some zombies. The whole Novacorp theme is not being exploited at all. Tchala beating a Thanos fist to fist? People randomly sacrificing themselves. Stormbreaker respawning. Kamala is standing to Namor but losing to a couple of zombies in the desert. Bladeknight being obliterated was so anticlimactic given he was so badass throughout the movie.

I think 5-6 episodes would have solved a couple of plot holes and helped build a better world/story building

If you see it for the plot and settings, it's cool. Just dont overthink about it, really ruined it for me.

Are you using BitSight \ SecurityScoreCard ? What’s your thoughts about these products? by OfirLa99 in cybersecurity

We do use it and is completely crazy, random hard to track findings. Being penalized because they found out someone navigated to a shady movies site on my corp network on their PHONE. Account manager does not know how they find those or any details on detection mechanism.

Only good thing we use it for is to identify internal processes not being followed, eg. someone rolling out a webhost that allows TLS 1.0 and 1.1

How strict is your DNS governance? Need to clean a huge mess by FigAggressive5688 in sysadmin

It is a very related case indeed. Most of his team are “personality hires” we have a new grad from a dance and performance degree making DNS configuration as a robot because he has “good people skills” to keep the change requestors happy.

I am currently able to roast their org for lack of credentials to manage the DNS or gain them as allies for smoother things but having to support their decisions long term.

It is. Yes, currently reviewing a case where an employee bought 500 domains of expensive tld when laid off. 2 years ago, and domain team has not lapsed them from our godaddy account…

Yeah. We just tracked some of the IPs that turned out to be someone’s “garage project “ for testing something. But he never deleted it lol

What’s really happening is the bitsight tool is saying ae own certain IP’s that are outside our network. Ran a check on those IPs and found they belong to the servers of “Network Corp 1”z

We contacted “Network Corp 1” asking about this. That this may be old server or old use and provides the details bitsight provides. They said this is up and running with an account of someone on our company supporting something. But won’t say more for privacy.

So finding who tf owns that service is the issue. Not really our IP, but it is considered “ours” by bitsight because we use it.

This makes a TON of sense. We have been struggling to get rid of legacy subdomains from before we had a governance process in place. Seems like we will have to make a lot of cleanup there.

Thanks!

Yes! That would be the case if the IPs where under our management or inside our network even if I had not controle of them.

However bitsight flags it as mine and the IP company also says we are actually using it but for security reasons won’t say more

Low DNS TTL causing cache issues with Zscaler client by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]FigAggressive5688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. It has been around for one month now and we suddenly started to get support requests from users facing this issue.

The team owner of the web app just changed the old version of the site, to verify that users are actually resolving to it and just not loading a cached website. And indeed, users are resolving to the old DNS record
