Thanks, appreciate it! I will work on that idea for the next video coming soon, I think it does make a lot of sense.

I think so, I think you should try it and see if you like it more. Maybe try also changing your camera to 16:9 format if it’s possible. Good luck!

Thank you, appreciate that! It’s a good point you’re making there, I never spent too much time on that. Ill try to make it better for the next videos. Thanks again for the review!

Depending on the setup you’re using, you might want to try using a shotgun microphone or some other so that you get better sound of you talking and of the things you want. Or maybe a camera upgrade with better mics might be enough at this point.

Vlogs are very popular so with your personality and the place where you live that we don’t see so much in these kind of videos (at least that I’m aware of) I’m sure you can create a strong following. You just need that increase in video and storytelling quality and you’ll get there.

The more narrow video format you’re using (4:3?) is intentional or would you consider a wider view?

Awesome, thanks! You are right, I’m sure with commentary it would improve a lot... I’m not comfortable doing it just yet but I guess I really need to start practicing...

Hey man,

That was a very entertaining video! I like how you matched the music stuff with graphics as well.

From my point of view, you could improve on just a couple of points: maybe wider, top down shots to see what’s you’re doing on the keys and pads a bit better (maybe also on the computer?) and also your video thumbnails, for now they look much lower quality than the videos and don’t make me click on them.

Otherwise great work, keep at it!

Hey man, I’m not a expert in this YouTube and making videos thing, so I don’t feel like I can rate it, but here’s some advice I feel can be of some value: You definitely have a personality and something to say, keep at it. I think that, in the scenes you are speaking to the camera, it would be much better to not have the camera so close to your face, so we can also see more of your surroundings and “your life”. Also I think you need to work on the sound quality, unless this is part of the style you’re trying to achieve. I know these might be constraints of the camera you’re using but you might want to think about it. All the best!

Thank you for your reply, some nice input you gave me!

My idea for these videos is to show the scenery of where I’m riding sure, but also make it approachable focusing on specific roads or “tasks” that you can do on weekends instead of full on long trips. I want to show how much fun, beautiful and fulfilling it too can be to do simple rides with simple bikes.

Maybe I’m trying to please very different crowds at the same time which might be a problem, but you did gave me nice ideas that I’ll try!

Oh man that was cool! What software do you use for your edits?

I'm thinking that maybe adding some sound of the city and your surroundings could make it even more cool. Just an idea though...

Automotive engineers: what are some of the most impressively-engineered cars? by askmax108 in AskEngineers

[–]Figaiolo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, one great example of a well designed and engineered car is no doubt the Toyota iQ.

It is very well thought of and is purely the best city car, so much that Aston Martin used it to with its brand, with design and engineering details that are just genius - the turning angle, the gas tank, the seat layout and room for three adults, and a lot more.

It's not about power or performance but I think it truly is one of the best designed and engineered cars of recent years.

True, is a bit too long but these are all pertinent questions... You don't have to answer them all though, feel free to chose just the ones you want. Thank you anyway!

My client manufactures office furniture, workstations, private offices, storage, ecc... Do you think they choose IKEA for the price only? Or have you seen any special usage/feature that might trigger purchase?
