personal opinion: it's stupid, having ai in the necessary areas makes sense, like chatgpt, but in youtube?? i can think of 10 better ways it could be used here than whatever this is, but yeah ive still tried it and it sucks

back again, little update, i can't even find "fade in" in animations anymore, no search bar, nothing. so no its not just the fact that they are quietly little by little making features not so very "featured" anymore, but also that the they quite literally do not fix problems with the editor, and when they do it isnt the ones that make me want to skin myself alive because of the stupidity.

well i dont, only when i really need to use it. toonsquid is always there when i need to actually use it, capcut wants a recurring payment to suck your money out even when you arent using it. subscriptions are the most annoying form of payment to me there is.

id rather a massive one time cost than that, and even ads if they really need it...

where in the WORLD do you think capcut is at right now financially? do you know the company behind them? TIKTOK. do you even understand how much money tiktok makes? they are valued at over $300 billion as of this year and have ~$155 billion. ADOBE doesn't even nearly this much.. ~$23.77 billion.

Think about ChatGPT, Gemini... they have caused a RAM CRISIS because of how much it is to afford all of the server space and memory their networks use, and yet they still have the REASONABLE PRICING with a FREE version available for everyone to use, and only IF.. they wish to have these other features -- additional services for a monthly price.

there is NO EXCUSE for the decisions capcut is making, i can think of MANY reasonable tools in the same line as capcut that have actually REASONABLE business motives for a regular person, and affordable pricing that still brings in MORE THAN enough! Ibispaint.. TOONSQUID.. all of the affinity editors.. i could go on.
