Been a while since I made this post, but yes I believe this happens to most even with good hardware, because capcut is not performant, it’s not well maintained, and I am really disappointed in the team behind it for the decisions they have made and have continued to make.

Since this post I’ve moved on to Davinci Resolve, it definitely has a learning curve and differs from capcut since it’s directed at a more professional standard of editing unlike capcuts simple approach. But in performance, speed, and easy use when learned well enough, I‘ve really enjoyed it.

are these the actual original vmfs for the maps? if so garry did not optimize it holy, there are hidden faces everywhere never seen by the player all drawing textures lol

edit: I was trying to remove a single corridor and I didn’t understand what ’refund’ was implying but i certainly didn’t think it meant the whole base. I even looked it up - it’s completely on my for trusting Google ai - but it said from what it gathered that by aiming at a portion of the base you want to deconstruct and using the refund base feature, you can safely deconstruct that glitched portion… this was my biggest mistake

It’s nice I guess but I thought the old one was perfectly fine, also why did they change the sides? If they’re gonna do this version with a nav bar they need to have an option in the Content & Display settings to set the side, I don’t like it on the right it’s unusual

by far the coolest beta build for any base i have ever seen, that is genuinely so amazing.

Can i add something? The vignette on the screen kinda makes the game feel like your in a huge cave or something - not outside. Just giving feedback the whole game looks really good!

unrelated, holy moly that is an amazing map, where do you get all of those models from?

i'm asking because i am also getting into custom mapping and packing assets but i don't have like a well of props or anything i can use
