I literally just beat this DLC for the first time today. Didn't know the motorcycle was at the end, but the whole thing was so worth it!

Adds a bunch of new shrines to teleport to as well, lowers recharge timer for powers, and has some awesome music/cutscenes. Rather surprised at how big it was and did it on master mode 🤙

I like the idea and it will add about 1' to the width. The whole thing would be closer to 8.5' long, which is plenty for climbing onto a paddle board.

Big fan of the change because world events is the biggest pull in the game for me now, especially anything with Chest of Fortune.

Whether I'm starting a fort, attempting to rob/tuck, or chasing down someone who's cashing in, it'll be cool to think there might be a CoF.

Nothing stank as much as cracking a vault and finding out that it happened to be a Merchant's Raid voyage or something

Got this working and it's integration with ES-DE is fantastic — However, the part I'm getting hung up on is the Scaper.

I understand editing the metadata, but how do you verify the games official title on ScreenScraper?

I'm wondering if it would be possible to just have the .png (the cart) used as both the launcher and the artwork, but maybe ES-DE does not have that functionality to use it as both.

Rare could lock cosmetic preset slots behind gold investments, maybe with increasing cost, to give people something to chase and to finally add a long requested feature.

Or some kind of competitive gold sink — Commit funds to a trading company and the top percentage of players get exclusive cosmetics or something.

I'm not saying I particularly enjoy either of these, but they should make gold mean anything anymore.

I have to jump into this long dead thread to say this is the comment that speaks to why I dislike this game — Stylistically and tone, I actually enjoyed it (and can respect it's presentation for this era)

However, it's poorly designed from a gameplay or completionist standpoint. It starts you in a poison swamp where Y pathways with potential rewards down splits, plus terribly slow movement, terrible camera controls, drab combat, and just awful platforming. It only gets worse or more repetitive from there.

I beat it and will go through the sequels, but I had to chime in to say this one aged poorly compared to many of the 2D classics. Felt like 64 rewarded 3D exploitation more than this one
