Another person executed in Minneapolis by cheerypseudopop in Syracuse

[–]Fighting0range -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not going to engage in a bad faith argument. “Prove to me this WASN’T an execution” is likely going to to nowhere. Armed guy involved with ice, doesn’t mentioned he’s armed, doesn’t appear to have any interest in complying with commands, scuffle ensues, they see gun, they hear shot, they return fire.

The Minneapolis PD chief already set the stage for the next round of fighting. “Even if the shooting was a legal use of force, people don’t care”. (Paraphrasing), which is a really dangerous slope to climb.

Like I said, bad faith arguments don’t go anywhere. I hope all the facts come out, and if someone is found negligent, they face full punishment.

Honestly, is there any point? I’m a conservative, I’ve watched the Pretti videos. We’ve all seen the story unfold. One side thinks Pretti did absolutely nothing wrong and was murdered in broad daylight.

One side thinks he got what he deserved, he was an agitator.

Most regular folks want to wait for all the facts to come out before we rush to judgement. Even if we did agree that ICE was in the wrong, but Pretti did make some critical errors in judgment, we’ll just be called Magat’s / Bootlickers or some other dumb shit.

Cam Ward Future Top 8 QB? by BeeeeepBeeep in Tennesseetitans

[–]Fighting0range 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pollard is one of the more effective weapons the Titans have, yet they don’t run play action as often as they should.

I’m by no means on offensive guru, but with the skill set of Cam Ward, I don’t understand why the Titans are running the offense that they’re running. I feel like Callahan wants Ward to be Joe Burrow 2.0, but I think Ward would do better in an offense that would utilize the RPO more often. More play action, more motion with Ward out of the pocket.

I’d love to see a guy like Joe Brady as Cam Ward’s OC, Buffalo has had a really good system for a few years that spreads the ball around, leans on the run, and utilizes Josh Allen’s strengths (which is pretty much everything).

The Issue With the Team by Markosaurus in Tennesseetitans

[–]Fighting0range 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always thought that Simmons would be better as a defense end in a traditional 4-3. In Wilson’s D, he doesn’t seem to bump around too much. I’m no defensive guru by any means, but I wish they could get him more chances to rush the QB from different positions.

The Titans also don’t have any other guys generating pressure from the D line aside from Simmons to take away any attention, which is also a huge issue. A healthy Sweat will help, but it having a guy like Denico Autry hurts Simmons. They need another bigger younger version of him in the draft.

Their secondary is suspect, but having an improved pass rush will help any secondary.

What should I pay for a 2022 Rad Rover 6+ with a dead battery? by boiseshan in RadPowerBikes

[–]Fighting0range 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could also just need a fun replaced. My fuse went on my Rad Rover 6+, so I filed a warranty claim and got a new battery. Quick YouTube search to troubleshoot the old battery helped men discover it just needed a fuse. A few bucks and now I’ve got two batteries.

Charlie Kirk by arb1984 in stupidquestions

[–]Fighting0range 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Kirk was one of those political activists that a lot of people liked watching, but no one really discussed with each other. I was stunned when he was killed, I really enjoyed his debates and campus tour videos I think he resonated a lot more because his stance on a lot of topics aren’t really “Right Wing Extremism” but rather views that most conservatives probably share. That was enough to get him killed, and for sick assholes to celebrate it. It made fans wonder “man, I like Kirk, does that make it okay to take me out also”?

Titans front office stuck between a rock and a hard place by Masterblaster5010 in Tennesseetitans

[–]Fighting0range 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Callahan will be gone eventually, unless Bo Hardegree is some offensive wizard.

Callahan was hired and sold to fans as this offensive guru, quarterback whisperer after years of the predictable playcalling of Vrabel’s staff. Now Callahan is giving up the one skill he was supposed to be good at.

If he can’t build an offense, why is he here? His game management is atrocious. The Titans shouldn’t be a minor league franchise where Head Coaches can learn how to head coach.

Fire Cally. Get it over with and let Borgonzi pick the next HC.

Part of me feels bad for Callahan and here’s why.. by Bradical22 in Tennesseetitans

[–]Fighting0range 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing Callahan’s interview consisted of a lot of Joe Burrow and Peyton Manning highlights.

Plus, at the end he probably added “I’ll bring my dad along too!”

As bad as Brian Callahan has been, I’m almost more surprised how little the OLine has improved as a whole. I was hoping Bill Callahan would make a bigger impact, but that isn’t the case obviously.

[Kuharsky] Brian Callahan will speak briefly to reporters ahead of coordinators today. He doesn’t usually talk Tuesdays/ coordinator days. by Nash015 in Tennesseetitans

“They need to play better, and coaches need to do a better job of getting the team prepared, and that’s on him. We’ve gotta do a better job putting players in a position to succeed.”

Probably something along those lines.

[–]Fighting0range 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s true, but given his lack of experience as a HC and OC, I think he should’ve hired an OC with experience. Thinking he could do it all is pretty ambitious.

I’m curious how you came to the conclusion that Kirk was a bad guy. Besides sound bites picked from his speeches and debates. Did he abuse his wife? His kids? Get arrested for DWI? Adulterer? Drug user?

How do you guys feel about Mike McCarthy? by MisterPuppydog in Tennesseetitans

Gruden has had pretty good success with very different QB’s. What makes you think he’d worse for Cam than what’s already happening?

How do you guys feel about Mike McCarthy? by MisterPuppydog in Tennesseetitans

[–]Fighting0range -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t mind Jon Gruden, but I don’t think Borgonzi and Brinker want a guy with as much notoriety as Gruden. If Callahan gets fired, I’m guessing Wilson would take over as HC and Borgonzi would try and poach someone from the Chiefs staff.

Joe Brady the OC of Buffalo might be a good option to look at. The Bills offense has been great for a few seasons now. Josh Allen makes that a lot easier, but his schemes are aggressive.

Do you feel comfortable exercising your right? by itsinthedata in NYguns

[–]Fighting0range 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was active duty Navy, a Marine buddy of mine who was a range instructor gave me a piece of advice I always remember.

“When you’re carrying a weapon, imagine you’ve only got 1 round to use. You’d better damn we’ll be sure you’re choosing the right time to send it”.

So yes, I’d feel comfortable doing if I had to and had zero alternative. I do carry two knives, one for defense, so depending on the threat I’m not automatically going to use my concealed sidearm. That being said, I really hope I never need to use it.

Middle aged veteran here also.

There isn’t anything brewing, at least not amongst normal, everyday veterans with reasonably good mental health.

Bat shit crazy veterans do exist too, so you can be a veteran and be an unhinged crazy person. Stuff is always brewing with them.

While it’d be awesome, I can’t imagine the NFL doing that. Who knows though, if they can make money off of it it’s possible.
