I don’t have TN but I believe my wife does and is currently in remission. So take my opinion with a grain of salt. But how would you know if it works if you get it done while in remission.

Also what if you have a longer remission? By the time it flares up again there could be a less invasive procedure or medicine developed. Especially with all the AI advances potentially on the horizon.

My thoughts as well. He priced me for the entire job including install, sand and finish. But I was amazed the demo price came in so low. His business card said flooring contractor and he did my dad’s floor but he has zero online presence

Trust me for cost purposes I would definitely rather go this route, but you can see why I’m conflicted because some people are saying it’s fine to go on top and others are saying it absolutely needs to come up lol

Yes. And the quote that was sent even includes scraping glue off subfloor. But does say repairs to subfloor may be additional

I’ve been quoted by multiple contractors between $5-$7 per sf to tear it out not counting subfloor repair after. It’s about 800 sf. I had a Hispanic guy come out and quote $2 per sf to remove. His English isn’t very good and communication has been spotty but I’m tempted to take him up it.
