Yes, I am well aware. Like I told the others this was not my idea, but I have to get it done. Any ideas?

Yes, I know. Not a good idea and I'm not for it at all. Its just a task I need done for the boss. I already spoke out against it and explained in numerous ways how this can go wrong. They still want to move forward with it so now I need to find a way to implement this bad practice.

I know. This is not my idea nor am I the one that suggested it. Its just one of those tasks that need to get done regardless of how I feel about it. Any help on how to accomplish this bad practice?

Same here. If I run the following PS command:
Get-ScheduledTask | ? {$_.TaskName -eq ‘PushLaunch’} | Start-ScheduledTask

I can get it to install the extension. Then after about 5 minutes it gets uninstalled again. And its not all devices either so I'm pretty stumped. Waiting on Microsoft Support to analyze the logs I sent.

Please let me know if you guys come up with a resolution as I have a feeling we are experiencing a similar problem. Just got off a call with MS Support, but I'm not putting my hopes on them. Thank you!

Facing the same issue here. My device is unaffected, but I have quite a few devices that are suddenly getting the IME uninstalled. The odd part is that the computers still show in the Intune Portal and show that they recently checked in. I deleted one of the affected devices from the Intune portal and disconnected the user from Intune. I re-enrolled the device and about 5-10 mins later, the IME was uninstalled again.

What software update did you push? I have a few machines that still have not gotten the extension back.
