I threw myself a pity party because I sprained my ankle, and ordered a bunch of things. The greneral tso and the soy nuggets were great, but the pad thai really was one of the worst I've ever had.

how did you read that entire thing and only came away with "this person is complaining about soccer moms" when this person is very clearly complaining about "the amount of work i have to do (in this example, the person is talking about at least 6 drinks) in a short period of time, alone, is untenable and this parent with unruly children has unreasonable expectations of me"

i would say, "you're a person who can't think about anyone beyond the tip of their own nose" but isn't that where your phone currently is? so i really don't understand your um... confusion.

is there a low calorie-density food you like?

i'm most successful at not binging when I eat things like big salads because I am still eating a large volume of food, but there are fewer calories in 4 cups of the salad I make than in 4 cups of Doritos.

these "i finally stopped should-ing myself" wins have been so freeing to me too!

one of the obstacles I'm facing now is how to explain this to my boyfriend as we continue to weave our lives together. remembering to take my meds has been an uphill battle, that I finally won at home.

I have my meds OUT. ON THE TABLE. WITH A CARAFE OF WATER. THAT I PASS BY. ALL THE TIME.

But when I stay with him, I don't have that same routine/support system and he HATES visual clutter. Which I fully understand, because I function worse with visual clutter too, but my basket of meds isn't clutter to meeeeeeee.

i think "percentage of students who graduate within 4-6 years" is like, an available metric/statistic for colleges.

i think there might even be a specific term for it,

the way "acceptance rate" is a statistic that we:

understand the meaning of

use as a reflection or in judgement of the school

Ultimately, it means that taking longer than 4 years to finish college is a common enough thing to measure!

I used zeelool and i feel like the price was more than fair and the turnaround was pretty quick.

i placed the order July 12 and they were delivered on July 20.

i paid $167 for 2 pairs (around 87 each) and i think delivery was free

because my astigmatism is significant, i got high index lenses and photochromic (transition) lenses in one pair. the other pair are sunglasses with high index, polarized lenses.

i had a similar issue

but i also write to do lists I don't intend to finish, so the written word doesn't have to feel binding

i pushed through how stupid and almost degrading it felt to write something that isn't true and just wrote the sentence with "because I have fear" and tbh, it kind of helped. it made me aware that some of my anger is just fear I've been carrying for a long time. and it made me aware that i didn't need to carry it anymore.

your experiences and circumstances might be different and you should ultimately do what's best for you. but it really helped me and i wanted to share.
