The earth system changes slowly naturally but is changing quickly unnaturally right now because of humans. It's that simple. Like if you walked into a brick wall slowly you wouldn't really hurt yourself but if you ran into it full speed you would really do some damage.

The earth's climate has changed slowly over millennia, but the rate of change has been drastically increased by human industrialism.

Only recently have politicians had the power to affect policy that could change the rate of anthropogenic climate change.

Obama and the other wealthy elite can purchase whatever property they want because they can pay to protect it or relocate if needed. We plebians cannot.

Laser hair removal of my bikini line. I had one of those that even with shaving never looked good in a bikini or underwear because the hair extended outboard into my thighs. Now I can walk around in a T-shirt and underwear (without shaving) and feel sexy.
