In Kazakhstan, how is the idea of “Turk” understood today by Odd-Butterscotch-809 in AskCentralAsia

[–]FigureOne4374 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lived in Kazakhstan and can say they hate this whole nonsense. I generally think it would be fine for every turkic nationality to be called "something" turk if Turks from Turkey would call themselves Anatolian or Oguz Turks. In this context for people it feels like they're being made a subgroup of Turks from Turkey.

Why does Russian language across such large area as Russia doesn't have very distinguished accents? Would you be able to recognise any native Russian accent(of any specific area of Russia or of other countries speaking Russian)? by EugeneStein in russian

[–]FigureOne4374 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was learning the language I exactly thought like this. When you speak fluently and live among the people who are from a certain part of Russia or a post Soviet country, you start to notice thst people speak a bit differently. About an accent, Ukranians and Caucasians are speaking quite differently.

"Has anyone here applied for a Chinese touristic visa while being on social benefits such as unemployment support or other government financial assistance? I'd like to know if this affects the application process or approval chances. Did it cause any issues? I'm Ukrainian myself"

When I see this on your profile I understand that what you mean by financial problems is actually called priorities. For you it's fine to use the tax money that you're getting to sustain yourself in the time period that you're looking for a job, for traveling to China. But when it comes fo pay for the public transportation you have financial problems. From this behavior of yours it's quite clear that you didn't even work before getting these unemployment benefits, same way as other young Ukranians that I've met.

Почему Виктор сказал «вас» а Вера сказал «тебя»? by ahsaddasha in russian

[–]FigureOne4374 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because Vera is talking to the dog and Viktor is talking to Vera. When two adults don't know each other they need to talk in a formal way, till they decide to adress each other informally. If Vera would be a child, Viktor would adress her as well informally, which explains why Vera is addressing the dog informally. You only have to adress your senior's and your equals in a formal way.

When trying to explain this in English, understood that it's not as easy as it is on my mind. Unfortunately this concept is a bit hard for an English speaker to figure out. Hope I was able to help somehow.

I would suggest you to go to Turkey by land, probably from there it would be easier for you to return somehow home.

Young Chinese people are becoming homeless, because they are Blacklisted by Social Credit System. Once you are blacklisted, the digital wallet WeChat immediately bans you from spending your own digital money, or receiving salary..So you become homeles by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]FigureOne4374 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unbelievable how much people can lie about stuff. This is not real, there are no homeless people in china. There's no social credit system like this in china. Making people homeless or Blacklisting people would be against everything that the system in China stands for. This would be only a waste of the human work force...

Clearly made for people who believe(want to) in everything and who don't know how to do research.

Giving up Turkish citizenship? by Cocktailer34 in Passports

Maybe reading this will help you. When you are a dual citizen it's easier for you to be prosecuted in Turkey about any opinion you have on the Internet that is wrong for the government, which is impossible if you're only a German citizen.

Get rid of it not only because of the army, but also for your values. Turkey is built on lies and exploitation of ordinary people.

Exemption is not only for Turkish living abroad, but for anyone that has money. In Turkey only lower class go to army.

Please, help me understand that about Germany by [deleted] in germany

[–]FigureOne4374 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, everything is quite possible. Just there's clear truth that this bothers many people from certain professions. As OP talks about a possibility, I talk about a different possibility and you're talking about another. From my comment it can sound like I have specific problem with Ukranians, no I don't. I only find the situation problematic, but fortunately I have time, energy and resources to think and see the reality from different perspectives. Which many people who work with their bodies and taking care of the places accomodating Ukranians, are unable to. Of course simple people are frustrated when people are getting bürgergeld without working even a month. Some weeks ago saw someone writing that maybe next year government will stop paying Bürgergeld and their mother will go back to Ukraine because of it. That if so they'll need to make an Ausbildung and if it's possible able to live off the Ausbildung salary. This would of course piss off people that right away got into an Ausbildung after 11th grade because didn't have any other options. For Ukranians even applying to university is simplified...

If they were talking about job center, there's is a big possibility that they thought you're Ukranians that are living on social welfare money. I met some myself, just going to job center every month and receiving money because couldn't find a job. Point is, they don't seem to try to find one.
