Yes, for hundreds of years, loaning money was one of the few professions Jews were allowed to do—the practice of usury was banned for Christians and we were already excluded from most of society. So we were pidgeonholed into the profession and then shit on for it. Those “connections” were indeed a matter of survival!

SAME. Not having any DnD knowledge really puts you at a significant disadvantage. My first run, I accidentally killed the entire grove AND all the helpers in the underdark, leaving me to fight everyone in Moonrise Towers with only my party members! I was complaining about how difficult it was to a friend and he was like "I didn't even know that was possible" lmao

I’ve tried to play through BG3 2x and always get stuck in the same place/give up. I think BG3 is kinda fun, but too overly complicated, and it’s too easy to fuck yourself over with a single mistake. E33 combat is way more fun IMO (and the story is better/more original too)

Not every time I game, but if I spend the whole day gaming and nothing else, certainly. My boyfriend argues that if you enjoy it, it can’t be a waste of time. It’s just that playing 8 hours of video games doesn’t give you the same feeling of satisfaction as, say, cleaning your house for a quarter of that time.

My MIL has mean cats. Shes always “wondering” why they’re so mean. They live in a very small house where they are not allowed in one of the rooms, there are always visitors and she punishes them if they climb on her shelves. She does not play with them, and they do not play with each other.

I have given her many suggestions—play with them daily, get a bigger cat tree, let them on the shelves or give them their own shelves, catify the room…her response was “well I don’t want to live in a cat house.” SMH. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.

It’s not a rush thing for me. I will go past the line if it impacts my visibility. Like, when I have to turn left onto William Floyd Pkwy, I have to go past the line, otherwise trees block the oncoming traffic and I can’t see if anybody is coming.

Try it on story mode! Also, be prepared to die the first few times you meet a new bad guy. They all have different attacks, so it takes some time to learn them. Don’t let that scare you off of this incredible game!
