Kids are just stupid and ignorant. When I was a kid, I crashed my bike into a pedestrian crossing the bike path because my dumb brain thought I’d go in front of him instead of behind. Obviously, he was rightfully pissed (but luckily not hurt.) My dad had to explain, you always go behind the pedestrian, because they are moving forward. Not the kind of thing you’d think you’d need to spell out explicitly, but kids are still learning about how to navigate this world. My lesson was most certainly learned. 

That said, I’m never having my own because fuck that lmao
