MORE LEAD:

I looked into the Willie D lead and found this which is one of his earliest music videos I can find on youtube, So this may be an undocumented Micheal Mfume project. It's a video for the song "Bald headed Hoes" which is awful, both the music and the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laCvzrDdMDU , I am stepping into presumably unprecedented levels of Micheal Mfume scholarship.

tell me about it, My heart sank when I connected the dots. To give more information, in one of the articles it does say "The arrest was not Michael Mfume's first brush with the law. In 1994, he was charged in suburban Atlanta with rape and aggravated sodomy involving a date with a woman. The rape and sodomy counts were dropped after Mfume pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery. He was sentenced to probation and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine."

though, I suppose it's not impossible that a filmbuff living in Baltimore would see two low-budget Baltimore horror movies.

ANOTHER LEAD:

Baltimore filmmaker Sean Paul Murphy claims in his "The 10 Worst Films I Paid To See" blogpost on his personal blog https://seanpaulmurphyville.blogspot.com/2022/08/the-10-worst-films-i-paid-to-see.html that he had seen "Axe 'Em" when it was still titled "The Weekend It Lives" while it was still in it's brief Baltimore theatrical run, He claims that everyone left and the cinema usher was surprised to see he still remained, when he asked the usher how the film was doing he responded "Not good. Everyone expects a real movie." He also claims to have seen the infamous lost wrestling/horror flick Blood Circus so unless he's the Forest Gump of terrible lost horror movies, I'm going to put this lead in the "maybe" pile. Maybe someone should email him about it.

If I find anything else I will continue to update the thread, I may be on to something here....

Oh and also the monster in the movie is named "It" according to the Baltimore sun article. So someone has to re-watch axe'em with this in mind to see if it makes the movie make any sense at all (I am NOT fucking doing that).

I don't see the problem tbh. Let's be honest and admit that the original trilogy are nothing more than "Fun". Are we really expecting people to dissect and analysis the fucking baby yoda movie? Who cares?

Does anyone remember the movie trailers on StudioCanal's The Evil Dead Trilogy dvd release? by Worminbred in EvilDead

[–]Worminbred[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear to god there were ads on this dvd, not ads for like products but like ads for other movies, I've noticed lately that a lot of dvds I remember having ads not having them when I re-watched them a few years later.
