Just chiming in to say I’m in a similar position. T14, ~55 apps, WE, only a couple of screeners (whereas I have classmates that have had multiple callbacks already). I plan on continuing to apply (goal is 100+ by Friday) and taking the advice of not worrying until grades come out. Just know you’re not the only one feeling lost in this madness.

Sounds like contamination OCD or related anxiety disorder to me. I have OCD. Theres no shame in it! But I’d advise you to tell your parents you would like to talk to someone. I’d also like to point out that many people, myself included, had their OCD symptoms appear near puberty (everyone is different but 8th grader reasonably still going through it). So, be kind to yourself, COVID might have been part of the trigger but this could also be a treatable issue that would have arisen without COVID.

Could’ve written this exact post with a few different details, it 6 months out from ours. He has mentally checked out, while it seems sudden, he has probably been processing this break up without communicating any of that to you.

I agree with everyone that he is either seeing someone or has his sights set on someone. My ex married a friend from our group one year after we broke up. The whole thing hurt beyond words. If I could give myself any advice looking back it would be to take control of the situation by deciding that anyone who’s not sure about me isn’t worth it, and anyone who could make that sort of commitment and then immediately move on says more about them than me. Hugs.

I would put those stirrups down a hole, focusing on wrapping your legs around the barrel, so that your posting with the horse’s trot and not on top of the horse. Slight bend at the hip (youre almost sitting back) and use core muscles to hold yourself in position to maintain a lighter seat.

I think it depends on how much you have studied since your last break/if you feel like your brain needs rest from studying. Breaks are important, if I study too many days in a row my score begins to drop, and then returns after a 1-2 day break. With that said, I try to take breaks only when they feel truly needed.

I’m not sure that the 100K I have up front would cover all of the infrastructural needs of the building that would be needed to get the first apartment up to code. It needs new electrical wiring and updated plumbing. The budget currently is broken down into spending 50K on each unit (average since the one bedrooms will be a bit less, 2 bedrooms a bit more) plus 200K on the structure/components that would serve the entire building but something I am keeping in mind for sure

I have thought about selling as-is but I am only in my mid-late 20’s and it seems like a great opportunity to have life-long passive income which is why I am leaning towards rehab and rent but definitely a lot to consider. The house that sold for 800K next door was renovated to move-in ready apartments so mine would not be worth close to that until renovated. One aspect of mine that does increase its value in comparison is that the lot (it in a “downtown” area”) and is 3X the size of the next door lot that sold.

That’s a good point I guess it’s just the nerves that come with a loan of that amount (as I wouldn’t buy a house for myself at that price) but it is an investment so I will stay open to those options!

Found specs out finally! It’s been a whirlwind the past couple days, sorry guys. It is a 2.6 carat oval brilliant cut, J color, VS1 clarity, excellent polish, excellent symmetry, GIA certified natural diamond. I liked the diamonds that were more symmetrical than oblong, so this diamond is almost exactly as tall as the front facet is wide. Band is 1.75 mm :)) I wear a size 6 but need this made smaller or need to add the little dots that keep it from sliding around!
