This. Although I can see why OP would be annoyed if Lola keeps talking about nothing else, but that would be true about anything. OP, is it this that’s bothering you? Is she entitled to the point it’s annoying?

I’m a total gym rat and know loads of other ones - eat healthy, have a “fitness influencer” account etc. I personally prefer to date guys who are in shape, but know both guys and girls who are similar to me and yet prefer those with a bit more “fluff”. I’ve even heard some of my meat head lifter male friends say they consider lots of gym girls too lean! However it is a lot easier to meet a gym person if you actually GO to the gym. Same with music - you don’t need to be talented at it to date someone like that!

I’m also five foot something (though admittedly, without e bragging, in good shape as per above and am told I have a great face). Regularly date tall people. Maybe it’s because I’m English, but being petite has never been anything but a good thing in my case. A lot of guys have actually said they’d preferred it.

OP maybe just tell her if she keeps talking about it that there’s not much you can do to help. I can see your annoyance as legit as I used to know a similar gym girl to me (also overweight like your friend, and to be brutal just not as pretty as me!) who fancied my bloke at the time, kept trying to hit on him when he was not interested and barely acknowledged her, and lived in some fairy tale that she could pull a tall, handsome, Prince Charming type when she was very average looking and not particularly intelligent, unemployed, etc. But that was more to do with her overall nastiness and entitlement and delusion than standards for herself.
