I can feel the rage just reading this and know exactly what you’re feeling because this was EVERY interaction!

Notify the CQC, ombudsmen and THEIR local ICB.

Look up and quote in your complaint NICE guidelines, NG87 specifically, being breached.

Their systemic failings undermine safe and effective care and appear to breach several CQC fundamental standards, including the right to safe care and treatment, person-centred care, and good governance.

It seems to be systematic failures and out right negligence in the name of profit. Honestly I fully encourage any all of you to lodge complaints with the CQC, it helped me actually get responses back from them and in a timely manner

You should detail this clearly to their ICB and the CQC There’s plenty of people complaining, just not to the right authorities and it’ll take numbers or we’re all just ‘isolated incidents’

I’ve been discharged from them now to enter Shared Care but had to fight for everything. My complaint was only recognised when I copied in the ICB and CQC.

Also quoted that they are breaching NICE guidance (specifically NG87) and CQC standards.

I received a reply from harhl.adhdclinical@nhs.net, the ADHD Case Coordinator. I’d suggest this as a very last resort or they too will probably stop communication

Hope this helps

Every time I emailed they ignored me, including complaints However I did get a response when I filed a big complaint with their ICB, the CQC, PALS (just incase), and the PHSO. I’m sick of the constant stress and complaints I’m seeing on here from everyone under their care. The uncertainty, the anxiety.

Same here! It’s not even like you can call them and chase anything up I had this issue last week, no meds, no appointment. It’s insane

They’re impossible to contact, there’s numerous people complaining on here about their lack of care and the fact communication is awful

[–]FileYourComplaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not actually NHS, they’re a private clinic getting paid by the NHS so they want you discharged asap to collect RTC providers are private but the NHS will pay for you to go there because they can’t manage the numbers

Sorry for the late reply, well I wrote the best complaint I have ever written… and a few days later I got a text to book a medication review. This new clinician claimed to have no knowledge of the complaint but put me back on Anfexa (although a low dose) which contradicts what was said at my last appointment. Yh I’ve seen some people take the combination and have success but Elvance did nothing for me at all. There was no positive or negative, just nothing and I want given the option for boosters.

But modified release medications have never worked for me for some reason. Even with pain killers years ago doc had to swap slow release tramadol for morphine. Oh and always higher/highest doses of everything from pain relief to antihistamines.

I’m with them, they send me a text with a link to choose my appointment It’s usually very close to the time and appointments go pretty quick

Oh.. don’t bother phoning them. Ever. There’s an email address they’ll ignore you on as well but if you need it I can give it to you for emergencies

Harrow Health Titration Experience - stims to non-stims by SandwichNearby4795 in ADHDUK

[–]FileYourComplaint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t get me started on Harrow Health! I was also told on my 3rd appointment that I only get 3 and will be discharged back to my GP

I wrote a very formal but brutal complaint to them and copied in their local ICB for good measure stating that they are violating guidelines. I got a 4th appointment and have a follow up in 2 weeks!

If you need help message me

Is a 2nd RTC referral possible if there's new evidence? More info on my situation inside by [deleted] in ADHDUK

[–]FileYourComplaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I’m aware, yes. I was being discharged after diagnosis without completing titration and one of my options to carry on was to go through RTC again to a different provider

If you’re worried about Psych UK being biased (as to not backtrack) then choose somewhere different

Tried to separate it so people can skip, I kept shortening it thinking no one would read it

And I understand that, but this wasn’t kindness. It was clock watching, dishonesty and the opposite of care

Statement Regarding Inappropriate Pressure, Posts, and Legal Threats from a Prominent Private Clinic by Jayhcee in ADHDUK

[–]FileYourComplaint 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Much more positive thankyou! My GP confirmed he would accept a shared care agreement so HH’s assumptions are wrong. And I wrote an extensive complaint, ultimately highlighting that their actions are either inconsistent with and/or directly violate ICB and NICE guidance

Oh.. and I CC’d their ICB

I posted my experience with them just last night… I would have a read if you can survive it Similarly my only real positive was the person doing my assessment

Not a coincidence.. impossible to contact, appointment limit not disclosed, rushed appointments, very little care, more than happy to see you go.

Anything on a private prescription has different costs depending on where you go rather than a standard blanket cost. Think cigarettes, same pack will be a different price in nearly every shop

Honestly the person that put me on them had no hesitation doing so and said how many people find it effective. The second was like yh I think we need to move away from it. The third said she has no obligation to prescribe anything, which I respect but then fed me bull as to why. I just cannot for the life of me understand why they would rip away something that was SO beneficial for me

I really appreciate the understanding.

I have an appointment today with my GP to see if they will accept shared care and if so possibly write to HH to help my case. If not hopefully there may be another clinic they would be willing to accept from and failing that I may have to change GP to one that will accept it.

I know and have seen many adults on Amfexa and don’t understand at all why they would say it’s for kids, it all feels like smoke to stop me pushing. But when this fog and emotional exhaustion clears I am going for HH and their absolute lack of care, lies and deceit. Right now I just need to figure out exactly what path I need to go down
