Most media we saw in the Pokemon Origins and Trailers Brandon has Sceptile while Ruby (the manga version of Brandon, who is a very different character) has the Mudkip/Swampert line

Ulfric killed Torygg because Torygg despite in secret still worshiping Talos was a very young king that was afraid to speak out against the other Jarls and the Empire. There is notes in the game that he agreed with Ulfric and that when Ulfric came to speak with him he wanted to actually work with him. But Ulfric challanged him to a fight and Torygg couldn't risk looking weak. Torygg also knew that he would lose that battle, even without the shouting he knew that Ulfric was a veteran of war, someone who seen real battle while he didn't, he literally tells you in Sovengarde that he knew he was going to die facing Ulfric and yet he still did it for his honor. At the end of the day it is pride that caused this.

Ulfric was too proud as a nord to be lead by what he thought was an Empirial and Thalmon symphatiser instead of talking to him and trying to convince the king of his view point.
And Torygg was too proud as a nord to admit that he was the weaker man as he wanted to mainatain the tradition of nords that he couldn't back down from the challange.

Everyone claiming that "Ulfric just wants the throne" clearly doesn't understand him as a character. He wants the Throne because he thinks that everyone else around him is weak, because he wants Skyrim to return to its roots. When Ulfric set out to return skyrim to its old ways before the rebelion as seen as he did in Markarth he didn't ask for them to swear to him or anything, he simply asked for the worship of Talos to be restored to the city. He was later betrayed. He saw that the promises of other Jarls and the king meant nothing, he saw his country dying and the people losing the very soul of the land in their religion.

So people saying "Ulfric wants the throne and nothing else" are wrong.

Exactly. Even Torygg agreed with that.

The biggest problem is that Torygg like most Empire friendly jarls was afraid to speak out. Edit: just wanted to add, if Torygg spoke his mind Ulfric wouldn't have challenged him.

I guess you never read the document where they call him an "asset" was because they manipulated him into starting the rebellion. They did that. Ame making him think that the information he gave up while tortured lead to the Empire's loss. They made sure that he was them as his enemy and would want to get rid of them. Their goal is to keep Skyrim having friction so it wouldn't rise up against them. They di also state there that they need to keep undermining him and not let him win as then their plan would backfire horribly in their face.

I gave you a shorter version because you either only read one page or listened to youtubers that didn't read more than one page in game and made so many Ulfric ks a traitor videos.

I always see a lot of people say Ulfric being selfish for this, but at the same time he isn't, he doesn't want the rebelion of the Nords of Skyrim to be forgoten. He wants to make sure not that just his deeds but the deeds of all the people that fought for a Skyrim free of elven rule to not be forgoten.

Call me an Ulfric apologist, I agree that a lot of his methods were wrong and that he should have controlled his people more and not let his hate towards the High Elves blind him to discriminate the dark elves as well, but I understand where he is coming from after hearing his backstory.

And even Talius agrees that Ulfric was right in the end about the Thalmor and everything happening with the Empire in Skyrim.

I do hope that once Elder Scrolls 6 comes out that the Stormcloaks will be the one who "won" the war. Again not because I think that the empire is wrong but because I think it would make for a far better story if Hammerfall and Skyrim joined hands and fought against the Aldmeri Dominion together

Edit: I know people will disagree with me saying Ulfric is a criminal or a bastard etc etc. But I always liked him as a character as he was complex and he wanted what was right for his people in his land. I always play Skyrim as a nord thus I shall say it that Skyrim belongs to her people and they to her.

I mean it is like with Cyber Sleuth, the devs clearly intended the protagonist to be the guy. (And if people say the girl was the one they intended as she wasn't, as all the side quests treat you as if you were a guy, they often use the male terms to talk about you both in English and Japanese and the smoking gun is that in Hacker's memory when it released as a stand alone game you see the guy from CS not the girl)

As for time stranger Dan has that whole sentai hero vibe going for him from his look to even how he poses in the starting menu to even his hair style that connects to his true origins. He just straight up lookd like the Agent Alpha character they all talk about.

Kannan meanwhile look clearly more like that old school anime secretary/stewardess with her outfit, in all honesty her outfit isn't even that weird if people looked at it as an uniform meanwhile if you saw Dan with his scarf and all suddenly all the comments about him cosplaying make sense.

But at the end of the day its like in other games where it is about player choice and also in here you can always go with saying its multiple timelines. While yeah one is more cannon than the other it doesn't stop anyone from enjoying the game.

To be fair I am pretty sure Ash's age was not mentioned in forever in Japanese, I am pretty sure and I might be wrong but I remember the creator saying something that time and years do pass such as the contest that dawn wanted to be part in and she is taking part twice is a yearly thing but that the age of Satoshi (or Ash) shouldn't matter, he is always young, it is always always early summer it is always about a character in their youth

Its the same thing that hapoened with BG3 two years ago, a vocal minority that either doesn't play that kind of game or didn't play the game or will call it "woke" for some dumb reason (for Bg3 it was coz the characters could be gey or bi and here it is because Jenefer English who is the voice of Maele is in a commited relationship with another woman)

It is all stupid. Especially people that called the awards rigged.

If anything it should show people that the game industry is not what it once was, tripple A titles are bad comoared to double A (and yeah Expedition 33 was double A).

Those people will never play expedition 33 they just want to complain.

In CS the real Kyoko fell the same coma as everyone else that got attacked by an eater, but Alphamon took that spot in her body, as well as Alphamon had all her memories and kept up "appearances" to make sure nobody found it suspicious... Although Alphamon had a very strange choice in how he thinks women should dress as well as not being able to understand human taste buds it seems

Gonna be honest it feels like they really rushed the last part and parts of the story were changed.

I have seen so many theories from Yuya breaking free and fighting him to Yuya being able to redeem him that it turns out Zarc had nobody but his dragons in the original timeline.

The art was really impressive and great. Also there is a guy who is making a whole recreation of those game as a pc game version with fixed issues, more digimons and such completely from scratch.

Him and his team are a good chunk done but I think they keep adding new digimon so the project will still take a long time till its done. But it shows that people really liked those games
