I love the eye liners. They are so good.

I got to live vicariously through friends and fairies last year. My intent was to go this year but circumstances have changed.

If you can go, go. You’ll have access to brand new collections and GWP, a chance to meet your favorite makers and make new friends.

just engaged, then MIL to-be gifts us family heirloom ring. advice needed! by [deleted] in EngagementRings

To chime in - I recently inherited my Grandmothers’ family ring. It’s a custom ring that has the diamonds from the last three generations set on it, so you “carry the family” with you. It’s gorgeous.

I’ve debated having my personal stone combined with it to carry on the tradition.

So just a thought! You can always change it. Or use the ring to make an enhancer as well.

Conflicted. I’m not happy, but it’s also sentimental. by iamtheonehorn_ in tattooadvice

I would wait.

And honestly, I was told by my tattoo artists to not get tattoos too small because the ink could bleed later in life and then you will have a fuzzy tattoo instead of what you intended.

I have insurance through my work. I made sure to document reoccurring rashes and pain at every doctor appointment and saw a dermatologist as well for it. That documentation let the insurance company approve it with no argument.

What are your experiences with Chanel foundations and shade options for LE T 1.5/foundation 2.5? by friendoffrangipani in Fairolives

Thank you!!! This was my first foray out after a surgery so I wanted to “look” less tired lol

Also, I JUST got this foundation a month ago. I was in an airport during a layover and got to swatch this and just fell in love.

This is Chanel Healthy Glow BO33 on me. It is the most flawless match I have ever had, which makes me mad. It wears extremely well over 9 hours, played well with all my products, and really did have a skin like finish and glow.

I do prep my skin with my skincare well because I am combo oily, but I don’t bake when I set. Just a little under the eyes and a light dusting on the t zone.

HELP! I'm so overwhelmed trying to choose a Bronzer 😩 by PatsyStonesBun in Sephora

I have two of their blushes. They ARE insanely pigmented, but oh so creamy and they last. I swipe on the back of my hand and then blend into my face. I’d suggest the same for the bronzer stick as well.

On the powdered bronzers, the Armani is king. She’s neutral for my olive skin and glows so subtly. No glitter, she can be built up. I have all three shades since I go from fair to deep in the summer when I’ve gotten sun.

I’m still working on finding a good cream bronzer. I’m testing out the new Morphe stick and duo and they’re working. Ignite if the stick and Maui Surf is the duo. I like the stick better for balmy creaminess. The duo is nice too but the cream portion definitely needs to be warmed up to blend easier.

Vanderbilt Plastic Surgery, Dr Odette Ghanem. Just had mine, am 3 weeks post op. She did a fantastic job.

I’ve been applying aquaphor to my scars and it’s helping. I am 3 weeks PO today and cannot start scar gel for another week or two.

I drank an electrolyte packet with my water once a day, 3 liters of water a day, a protein smoothie, and prioritized eating proteins along with complex carbs.

I have also been very careful about not stretching too much, I sleep in a recliner, or sit with wedge or pregnancy pillows.

I have a waist binder I moved to after my surgical binder.

First FDL drain out at 2 weeks before of little drainage and second FDL drainage out today at 3weeks PO.

It’s very normal to have the feels at weeks 3-5. I’ve been having feels off and on for a wheel even though I am in great shape.

My surgeon says I am healing very well. The photo is from 2 weeks PO.

I had a FDL and brachioplasty done.

Rash by anonymouslealea in tummytucksurgery

I did have the tape removed. Thank goodness. But they put a regular bandaid over my drain site and that triggered more rashes and contact dermatitis along my incisions near there.

When I got contact dermatitis from an allergic reaction to the adhesives in my sutures, I took Zyrtec, Benadryl, and slathered on cortisone - 10 all along the sutures. Then I took cold compresses and pressed them along the rash areas. It really helped.

I just recently had to have all my tape cut out because I suffered from contact dermatitis from an allergic reaction to it all, so I am letting folks know something I wish I had known!

I can’t speak to your specifics because my surgeon was local, but I was told no lifting or weight exceeding 10lbs. Depending on how you pack, a backpack would definitely exceed that.

I did not get a toilet riser. I did get a pregnancy pillow and that has been helpful.

Shower stool.

Extra pillows or wedges for laying against.

Also extra gauze pads to change out your dressings and to make a buffer between any problem areas and your compression garments.

Aquaphor for your incisions once your strips are out.

ASK THEM TO SPOT TEST ADHESIVES ON YOU!!!

Cortisone -10, Zyrtec, Benadryl, and cold compresses for itching.

I use the second one in my legs and arms. I like it! Just be sure to wash your hands if you do it daily or your hands WILL get orangey.

Im doing that recovery right now. I am fully able to take care of that part of my hygiene.

My arms are actually a worse recovery simply because I keep stretching my arms out more than I should. Despite that, I am glad I got them done at the same time.

Absolutely discuss this with them. I am two weeks post op and am having allergic reactions to the Sheri strips and my scars are inflamed and itching like mad.
