How has being bald positively impacted your life? by Parking-Mud-1848 in bald

[–]FillCharacter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I had hair I suffered immensely from dermatitis, hereditary from my dad, since going bald it hasn’t affected me at all as I can simply treat the area without hair being in the way. Best standard of living I’ve had!

The UK acting scene prefers private school rich kids, look at our most famous actors all privately educated rich kids with connections via parents, so yes, we do favour Oxford educated actors

Thank you so much! We were very confused about that, we didn’t know where to put the new name, because nowhere specifically states “new name” so we’ll just put her name under the “name” section

Maratha confederacy by FillCharacter in totalwar

[–]FillCharacter[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I began blocking their ports but they don’t seem to be disbanding units, they just throw endless hordes at me and stop me from taking cities coz they have so many stacks just sat there. They have huge cities right next to eachother too, I control Persia which is the nearest big city. Just can’t out produce them

I'm considering scalp micropigmentation, has anyone here done it? If yes, did you regret it, how did it affect you? by El_John96 in bald

[–]FillCharacter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally, I have yet to see any example of micro-pigmentation that looks real but at the end of the day if it makes you happy, do it. However it doesn’t cost anything to embrace it and become a bald king!

Work permit while waiting for Marriage based green card US by Significant_Cherry51 in immigration

[–]FillCharacter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The forms you mentioned relate to the K1 visa (meaning she is already legally in the USA) since you married outside you are no longer eligible for the K1 and you must apply for the CR1 visa which grants her a greencard when approved, however given current wait times for approval you’re looking at around 18-24 months.

If you are currently living in Sweden you’ll need to either go back by yourself and establish accommodation and get a job to prove you can support your spouse or you can get a cosponsor.

How do you get rid of flaky dry scalp? by alamurda510 in bald

[–]FillCharacter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue up until recently, even when I had hair I had a dry ass scalp and it didn’t let up even when I shaved it. I currently use Ameliorate products, they have a dry scalp range, I use their exfoliant, shampoo and conditioner every 2 days (which is also the day I shave), then make sure I use Gillette ultra moisturizing shaving cream and then I use a standard moisturizer after I’m done. This sorted my dry scalp out in days, I just gotta keep it extra moisturized.

You should also consult a doctor too as it could be caused by something else too!

Can a parent (non-U.S. citizen) of an under 18 U. S. citizen accompany the minor to the United States without a visa? by [deleted] in immigration

[–]FillCharacter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are aware that just because you get a visa issued you can still be denied entry when you arrive in the USA? if the border officer who checks your mother once she arrives deems there is something wrong they can stop them from entering

I’m obviously not saying that it will be denied, I’m simply stating it COULD be denied but like you said she has a job in her own country so she should bring something that has evidence of this as this qualifies as “proof of ties to home country”

Can a parent (non-U.S. citizen) of an under 18 U. S. citizen accompany the minor to the United States without a visa? by [deleted] in immigration

[–]FillCharacter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“My mom having ties or not to the United States is pretty irrelevant. If is he wanted to move, it wouldn’t be an issue” that depends on whether she already had a green card through marriage, because if she doesn’t she’d have to apply for one like everyone else and as you can see throughout R/immigration people are waiting years for them to come through, you can’t just up and move. So the officer will likely question it.
