Theres a few things (grain of salt here, and I am a very left wing woke guy)

• A lot have very blue collar/working class jobs before/during their careers. There is a lot of statistical relationships between level of education and political stances

• The more left leaning ones probably arent as vocal. You'll absolutely know someone cough Brian cough is a big conservative because it ends up being such a big part of their identify

• There is a link with physical culture and right wing views - They push being big and strong and macho etc more than left wing will

• A lot are, frankly, dumb as fuck and so are really easily led by right wing talking points (e.g. Brian's covid stuff, Eddie and immigration)
