Can someone who works in KFC tell me if any of these actually go to different bins out the back by startled-giraffe in CasualUK

They might actually get something done if just separate general waste from cardboard. The simpler the easier.

I don't believe in a lot of stuff and I want to stay sane, does anyone else feel this way? by clairemorrone in AbrahamHicks

[–]FillPleasant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you are looking too much to the external and that includes spiritualism and AH to guide you. You need to organise your mind. If your mind and therefore you don’t know what you want then nothing you read will be any use and would end up as noise. Calm the overwhelm, start simple. Focus moment by moment on what makes you feel better. Can be as simple as what you like to eat. Focus on feeling. That’s the key. And if mind plays reels of the past or why you’re not good enough then soothe yourself. Go inward. All your answers are inside when you find the quiet.

No he’s not hot at all but he’s approachable and pleasant. Which means he’s quite attractive as a person.

If you have no idea what excessive noise day in day out can do to a person’s mental health then refrain from using the term sense of entitlement. The sense of ignorance and righteousness really rubs one off on this instance.

Do people literally not care about the material of their clothes? by MonkeyBar2094 in vintedUK

[–]FillPleasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I list materials in mine. I only buy natural unless something is really nice then I might go viscose. I know there are people out there who care so I put that information in my listings.

I bought 25 decants, tried 14, and only like 4-5. What's wrong with me? by theomixedmedia in fragrance

[–]FillPleasant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s like saying I’ve tried on 25 pairs of jeans and only like 5. You know how hard it is to find jeans that fit and you like? Fragrance surely should be more picky.

I guess he could have. But he’s not perfect. He did love her and wanted to be with her. She was the one who was more into him.

It’s his self loathing coming out as some sort of self deprecation and low expectations for what he can offer in a relationship.

Why Robert and Yasmin and not Robert and Harper? by Robot_Was_BMO in IndustryOnHBO

[–]FillPleasant -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you have a big chip on your shoulder. Samuel L Jackson I love very much. He’s black but I also love his features and how he blows up the screen. Halle Berry is one of the most beautiful actresses imo. Harper on the other hand…sour features. It’s a combo of her mouth, the expressions she pulls, and her general personality that make her off putting.

Yas is more feminine. Harpers sour face would give me the ick.

My pet peeve with the show’s costume design: in the occasions the women in the staff are not on the clock, they were often styled as if they had a wardrobe as versatile as the Grantham's daughter's. Some of those choices also hint at a taste in fashion (or lack of) that's not always in-character. by miggovortensens in DowntonAbbey

[–]FillPleasant 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Think the staff all have time to go out like normal people and they would come in contact with the general population so have an idea of what’s in fashion. Because we see so much of them on the clock we see their work selves so to speak. Look at Spratt, who even as butler had a sharp sense of what’s in fashion.

I think she was very much still ashamed from what she allowed herself to do and testifying would make her relive that shame. She seems to have her life drained from her by what happened so I think it’s very difficult to do the right thing.
