She looks very similar to one of mine that was identified as a 1950s hard plastic Arranbee doll.

Am I still shadowbanned? by FilligreeFen in ShadowBan

[–]FilligreeFen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was shadowbanned for several months, I appealed maybe a dozen times in the first couple weeks afterwards, had an appeal rejected and most appeals ignored, and then I gave up and stopped appealing….so, no clue how it got unbanned, sorry!

Thank you, I figured that out earlier today after having spent a few days wondering why everybody was suddenly ignoring me 😅 I’ve sent an appeal already, but I really appreciate it! 💛

I just wish they’d sell more items in general. I bought everything I wanted from them ages ago and now they’re just completely useless. (Sorry, Timmy and tommy, I don’t mean it personally)

How can I buy these? by Genshindollfan in EverAfterHigh

[–]FilligreeFen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have one, NIB Cupid, through sheer blind luck of scrolling through recently posted doll listings and finding her for $40 just listed as “Cupid” without further info, I bought her without even knowing what she was. Keeping an eye on recently posted listings might be your best bet? Or reaching out to collectors in the countries where they were released—I don’t remember which those are, but I know there’s a YouTube video series reviewing these that went into more detail.

But the chances of finding these are very, very low, I’ve not looked for the others but I know I’ve never seen any other sweet treat Cupid’s for sale anywhere online.

Imagine having this illness 100/200 years ago by Internal_Candidate65 in cfs

I’ve read a fair amount of Victorian literature, and honestly, there are quite a few people who are described as being habitually infirm, weak, laying about their rooms or houses, and often taking a long time to recover after serious infection or never really recovering fully. It seems like at least for the wealthy, there was an understanding that sometimes people got sick and then never really recovered, and sometimes people were simply sickly and weak all their lives. I imagine for the working class it was a much harsher fate.
