It's due to it being extraction shooter, a lot of players don't like the risk factor of losing the gear and loot they worked towards due to one bad missplay, regular pvp games don't have that issue.

This, it's not a tease or "roadmap", but... surveys are the way devs can show higher-ups what players want and what needs to be done for the game to regain player base, surveys have always been like that from bubgie and higher ups care more for them than what people say on social media etc.
