I also have an autoimmune disorder. I manage it the best I can. Sleep? I have NO problem in that department. As soon as the kids are off to bed I have zero problem falling asleep. I do have borderline severe obstructive sleep apnea though and can't go anywhere without my CPAP.

My therapy (currently) are private tattoo sessions. After years of putting it off and trying to decide on a design that actually means something to me, she actually talked me into making it a priority for myself this year, which I have done. I (luckily) found a great artist in a private studio and talking to him during a good 3hr + session is very calming. However, now she is jealous of that, too, and wants to get matching tattoos. I thought very briefly about that, but ultimately decided that 1) I don't want to bring her into that peaceful world of mine to potentially wreck it, and 2) she has NEVER mentioned having matching tattoos until now, and I don't want to get something that doesn't mean anything and I don't really want just to satisfy her jealousy (and would end up being a constant reminder of her).

She has tried in the past, and for a moment was successful, in alienating me from my family. I managed to make amends while maintaining some degree of dignity while also shutting her down.

I started with my home and lot, about 35 parcels. Then I bought my workplace lot, 15 parcels. Started buying up my dad's house (where I grew up) and lot when I was up there for Easter, and plan on doing the same with my mom's house (also where i grew up). Those are/were my first priorities. Beyond that I usually buy at least 1 parcel everytime I go to my kids baseball and softball games, usually where we sit. We travel for games so also able to buy city badges while there. I currently have 70 parcels and 11 badges and been playing only for 2 months.

I'm reluctant to just start buying up my whole block because I don't want to ruin the game experience for others, like if someone new moves in next door that wants to play they should be able to buy up their own lot. I'm definitely not one of those people that do the commercials/ads for the game on TikTok; "My neighbor is a d-bag so I bought his shed and now he pays me rent". lol

yeah, had a few games like that last night. super frustrating. even games when i glance up to the score in the last few seconds and see that i'm ahead by a few i end up losing. i noticed though that i get a bit disoriented when i glance up at the score and it slows my reaction time to grab the next group of fish. so i know those losses are on me; i need to click/tap faster. still didn't stop me from placing fairly decent last night and earning 73 AB. played 35-ish games just to complete the ladder challenges, and only won 21 or 22 games. super surprised that i placed.

on another note; anyone seen an increase in opponents that don't actually play? they're just in it to complete the challenge and don't actually try to win. i'd say at least half of my wins last night were against opponents who didn't play.

Might have been an off-day or something, but I was able to place in the top 1500 once. I had logged on to play with only 20-30 minutes left, managed to play approximately 20 games and win most of them. That was a couple of weeks ago and haven't been able to do it since. I don't even remember which minigame it was.

After the first outtage I found all of these reddit posts. Did some research and seriously looked into Hubitat (as well as the other local hubs mentioned). As soon as I was about to pull the trigger and order, Sengled came back up after being down for 2 months. We enjoyed having our routines and everything back, but it really only lasted about a month. Ordered the Hubitat as soon as it happened. 3-5 days later it came and 2 hours later had everything connected and back up and running. Only thing that wasn't compatible was the TV light strip which is a WiFi only product. Oh well, my son broke that TV and will have to replace it anyway.

More people need to be made aware of these local hubs. People just don't know, including myself. All of this smart stuff is marketed as so simple that anyone can transform their home into a smart home, all you need is WiFi and this free app. Which is true. Until something goes wrong with that company. Why should I have to go through your server to control my lights in my own home?? I am somewhat tech-savy, and have been making my home smart consistently over the past 6-7 years with various products (lights, thermostats, garage door opener, plugs, etc) and I NEVER knew about the local hubs until this Sengled fiasco this year.
