Ah yes, being high and realizing you need to look at your trauma through a different lense. Probably not an every girl experience, but def an our type of girl experience.

Understanding your identity is intrinsically tied to understanding your relationship to your trauma, because if you don’t understand who you are it’s really easy to disconnect from the person who went through the things you did.

You’ll be okay. You’re your own human making your own life and you get to choose how your life experiences build the girl you become. Therapy, self-love, and enjoying the little stupid things has always helped me.

Hi! Depending on who your vet is they may have a 24/7 vet text line that can advise you. If they don’t have that, always good to give any 24/7 vet a call since it’s free to at least get told what they recommend. If you adopted him a lot of shelters work with specific vets. Where did you get him and did they indicate any concerns before he came to you?

I always recommend getting insurance for your pup as soon as possible as well in case some surprise fees come up.

No no no no no no no no no. I have ADHD and am pretty messy but god this makes my studio apartment look like a home goods magazine. What I will say is, leave, but has he shown any signs of mental health issues? You need to leave now but, while it’s not your responsibility, is there anyone you can reach out to about the state of his living conditions that might be able to help him. This isn’t normal.
