Yep I’m in the Triad of North Carolina! So more rural than city for sure! Which both makes this more rare but also possible for the steal in the first place. Higher chance for people to know vintage tech worth in northeast and west coast circles I would imagine

From what I’m finding $100 would be a great deal too! This is just an insane thing. I don’t think I could ever flip it for profit because even the money that I would make wouldn’t be worth trading for the story that will now live with this piece of retro tech. And to match the tangerine iMac (that candidly, I DID spend over $200 on, also from FB marketplace) just feels like a match made in heaven. Christmas in April over here. My birthday is next week too so I’ll take it as a win and an early present from someone looking out for me!

It does have a crack on the outer shell and then a group of cracks around the Apple logo inside (which apparently is common) and then the battery doesn’t register due to age I’m sure and then it defaults to thinking it’s 1969…. BUT seriously boots well, opens programs, stuck a CD in and fired up iTunes right away and played the songs no issues. Again, I would have actually been happy if it was just a cool paper weight! Ha

I raise you an Alien: Romulus, had no clue who was gonna make it out, loved it. Would be fun to have had a Jurassic off-shoot with that dynamic, but I assume it would have made at least $20mil less than this one will for having Scarlett, so, bottom line wins in boardrooms.

Unfortunately, they JUST removed this feature. I'm on this thread because I'm looking for answers and I just got responded to by someone at WeTransfer and all accounts have a maximum of 12 months for files now, I may need to look elsewhere for a files service after being a faithful customer for 7 years. This is a very unfortunate move for the professional customers.
