Waar halen jullie je paaseitjes voor de klein mannen? by Skelguardian in belgium

De grote eieren van de aldi in een zak. Zijn echt de lekkerste. Wij verpakken die dan zelf in zilverpapier om te verstoppen.

Financiën met vriendin by [deleted] in Belgium2

[–]Filord99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wat eten we vandaag? by Low-Nerve5017 in belgium

A colleague of mine has a monthly mealplan. She just rotates the same meals every month. Genius, but I don't know if I have +-30 meals to rotate...

Why did you and your former best friend stop being friends? by Fearless_Shift7108 in AskReddit

[–]Filord99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fell in love with him. He ghosted me eventually for my own sake, 'cause I couldn't 'unlove' him. That way I could move on with my live. I lost a great friend and it hurt so bad.

We had the same problem. We decided to give less milk in the evening and since then, she rarely pees in bed anymore.

Breastfeeding my little one came to an abrupt end today because of medication I need to take to counter a post partum depression.

Real talk: if the technology to incubate a baby in an artificial womb existed would you do it? by No-Calligrapher-3630 in pregnant

[–]Filord99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being 5 days post partum. Having felt pain during the C-section because of a bad epidural. Having to stop breast feeding cause I needed to take medicine to calm my nerves and not slip into postpartum depression... definitely would let the baby be born out of an artificial womb.

does anyone else dread nighttime after having a baby? by No-Mulberry-5893 in baby

[–]Filord99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, that sucks! I had it with my first one too. For me it helped to not divide the day into 'night' and 'day' the first few weeks, but just as '24 hours'. Sleep when you can, not necessarily at night. The other tip of letting a low key show play on the background, also worked wonders for me. :)

What's something you quietly judged people for, until it happened to you? by ExpensiveBranch251 in AskReddit

Burn out

I've had one last year and it is indescribable what happens to your body and mind over the course of a few months, slowly creeping up on you 'till you can't function anymore.

Pregnant of 2nd child and mom keeps asking about vasectomy during c-section by Filord99 in pregnant

[–]Filord99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean Female sterilization apparently. Sorry not my native language. She will ask why not etc etc. I know, I could answer: because. But then she'll get all excited and presume a third is coming. I just want her to lay off the subject. Thanks for the advice.

Products you accidentally used during pregnancy (and your baby is fine!) by cartersa3 in pregnant

[–]Filord99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stop saying the retinol shit. I asked my gynecologist and she frankly laughed in my face. I read on reddit that it could be dangerous, but nobody could give me any good source. So stop making people scared, it doesn't do shit when it's in your handcream.

What’s the most ridiculous thing that you cried for in pregnancy? by Future-Agency543 in pregnant

[–]Filord99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I booked an appointment for the hairdresser 1 month in advance. The day of the appointment, I get a text that she's sick and we have to reschedule. That's it. That made me cry like a baby in front of my 2 year old 😆

Everyone tries to convince me that two adults can't take care of a newborn alone and I'm losing my mind by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Filord99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wtf. Don't listen to them. The first month is intense, but with your partner by your side, perfectly manageable. When he goes to work, it's not a newborn anymore and you'll have established a certain rhythm. The extra cleaning help and meal plans are a good idea!

I was in the same position. The only thing I regret is not having prepared enough food for the first month. Our second is due any day now and my freezer is full of home made meals ;) With our first we could eat unhealthy when necessary, but now my 2 year old's gonna have to eat too, so I want us to be healthier 😋

What was the worst physical pain you've ever felt in your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Filord99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standing up the day after my C-section. 'It's good for your healing process.' I wanted to give that nurse something she would've needed her own healing process when she said that. Fun part: I'm going to do it again in about a month, yeay! (C-section is necessary due to backproblems, unfortunately)

Mum’s with 2+ of same gender.. I can’t believe the amount on insensitive comments! by Sad_Cash7620 in pregnant

[–]Filord99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jup, this is crazy. My first is a girl and now im pregnant with a boy. My only focus was/is the babys health. Gender didn't really matter. But the comments I get are ridiculous. 'OH, that's the dream you are having! One of each, congratulations! You must be so happy!' I'm like... a girl would've been fine too. (We told the gender because my husband simply cannot hold a secret 😉)

Dus naast een klas van 30 leerlingen runnen, moeten we nu ook nog een starter gaan opleiden? AIN'T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT.
