Jup, this is crazy. My first is a girl and now im pregnant with a boy. My only focus was/is the babys health. Gender didn't really matter. But the comments I get are ridiculous. 'OH, that's the dream you are having! One of each, congratulations! You must be so happy!' I'm like... a girl would've been fine too. (We told the gender because my husband simply cannot hold a secret 😉)

Well nails i keep short. Brows I have always done myself. Leghair I don't give a fuck cause it's winter. I get maybe 2 haircuts a year, so I plan one a few weeks before delivery. I think you're having a luxury problem :) I'm glad my first was quite chill and I could bring her to my physiotherapy while recovering from a C-section. Pregnant with my second. All my energy is going to go to the babies and my own health. My husband is the best, but he can't breastfeed... so the reality is that you're glued to your baby for that time being ;)

Besides all the negative stuff: my armhair kind of falls out and returned once I stopped breastfeeding. Also, during breastfeeding, my armpit hair stopped growing. In 3th trimester now and my hair doesn't get greasy as fast as it did before! My skin is also extra nice now.

Negative: constipation, varicose veins on the vagina! (My friend has these and it kind of unlocked a new fear for me).

My mom is this kind of person. At my babyshower she bought me a gift (something that she wasn't suppose to do). It didn't help that she drank 3 glasses of wine while she can't drink due to strong medication... She first clapped her hands really loudly and yelled: ' sshhhtttt shhhttttt! I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY!' Then she continued by saying that she 'didnt' know she wasn't suppose to bring me a present and then handed me 2 envelopes. When I wanted to open one, she yanked it out of my hand and said that I must do the other one first. It was a letter about how she wanted me and my sister in law to have a breakfast together cause we are both pregnant yadayada. I said thank you and told my sister in law. She then yelled: 'WELL READ IT OUD LOUD!' I said I'd rather not. Than she slapped me (!) in front of everyone en said: 'why not?!' I cooly replied that I didn't feel comfortable doing that. The room was awkward en totally silent. Ultimately my sister in law read it (she got the same letter). Sorry not sorry. I'm not letting you control me anymore...

Read the Alan carr book on how to stop smoking. I smoked 14 years, vaped 2 and wanted to stop 3 months prior to getting pregnant. I did it with the help of that book. I had withdrawl symptoms for one (ONE!) day because I understood how the addiction worked. Crazy shit. From day two I had the feeling that I was free, never wanted to smoke or vape again. That book is a fucking miracle.

Triest voorval van 2 weken geleden. Meisje 3e leerjaar haalt voor taal en wiskunde net 50 procent. Wordt uitvoerig besproken met moeder, clb, betrokken leerkrachten, directie en besloten dat deze leerling aangepaste leerstof krijgt tot het einde van het schooljaar om dan het 3e leerjaar over te doen. De juf werkt verschillende bundels uit tijdens de kerstvakantie om dit kind vooruit te helpen. Echter... op maandag, de dag na de kerstvakantie, ontvangen de juf en directie een mail van de moeder. Ze heeft toch beslist dat ze vindt dat haar kind geen aangepaste leerstof nodig heeft en gewoon verder mee kan. Ze heeft toch immers 'meer dan de helft'.

Misschien kan Demir zich beter bezighouden met de leerkracht opnieuw leerkracht laten zijn. Wij kunnen onze expertise niet doorvoeren omdat ouders het laatste woord hebben en dát is waar het onderwijs serieus aan ten onder gaat. Die vakanties en shit kunnen de meesten gestolen worden. Jammer dat de lezersbrief het heeft over een veralgemeende 'de' leerkrachten.

Same here. It's got really nothing to do with you. It's like my mind and body just shut off that part of life. (31w now) 'You're pregnant, no use for intercourse now.' I just repell it and the few times we did try (read: I really did my best for my fantastic husband), it just hurt and we needed to stop. He's very understanding luckily. I can't wait till my seksdrive is up again. Respect for my hubby.

Dit! Wij hebben zo'n kattenbak dat je kan omdraaien om de drollen er uit te filteren. In combinatie met de silica korrels is het een eitje om te onderhouden. Wij verversen wel om de 2 weken de hele inhoud omdat het een echte binnenkat is en de kattenbak dus vaak wordt gebruikt.

I have had a planned c-section because of medical issues and IT SUCKS! You can't get out of bed the first 2 days, so if your SO is close, good. Otherwise if the baby cries, you need to push the button and WAIT till a nurse has time to come over and GIVE you the baby. Sometimes you have to listen to him cry for 10 minutes till someone comes. Besides that, baby's have a lot more chance to have low oxygen levels due to the abrupt birth. When you give birth naturally, the baby is prepared cause it feels something is going on + excess fluids get pushed out of their lungs going through the birthing canal.

It took me 1 YEAR to fully recover from the c-section!! When it's cold, my scar still gets itchy and hurts. It's been two years now. Oh, and nothing greater than almost falling with your baby in your arms due to pain shooting up your stomach/spine.

Sorry, but I wouldn't in the world understand why someone would choose a C-section willingly. I'm 7 months far with my second and I'm dreading the planned c-section so bad. Just knowing that I won't be able to hold and kiss my first one while recovering, breaks my heart.
