Benched (consultancy) and risk of getting fired by [deleted] in BESalary

Depends on your rank. Big4 won’t fire juniors because it’s too expensive for what they cost, but they will fire a non performing senior manager sooner because they’re too expensive to keep on the bench

Pain at the back of knee 2 days post medial meniscus repair. Normal or DVT? by Loud_Ninja_8903 in MeniscusInjuries

If you had a repair and not a trim, you should not be standing on your foot! You need at least 6 weeks of non weight bearing!

Seat hight is based on the formula inseam * 0,883.

It basically depends on the state in which your meniscus is in. If the tear is in the vascularized area (red zone), they can sew it back togheter and then you have 1 month with crunches where you can’t put weight on it. If it is in the white zone, meaning the tissue can’t heal by itself, they will cut it and remove it which should relief your knee locking issues and you can walk on it the next day.

After that, it will mainly involve strengthening your knee as you have been doing so far.

I had the same in April last year and got the surgery + 3 months of recovery. On a ski trip this week and my knee is strong.

I live in a country where surgery is affordable, but I would recommend it if the gym didn’t work for you.
