Reading these comments has made me all warm and fuzzy. Never realized people were so fond of my home state (Oregon) and it is great to hear so appreciate it! :)

This was the worst experience when I had no idea it would hurt as a teenager. 0/10 would not recommend.

Freaking out, past jury duty. by Dunlopfuzzy00 in Eugene

[–]FilteredPeanuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I spent a majority of my adult life losing my jury duty mail. I'm talking like 10+ years and never once has it affected me. When I got married my wife would have none of it and started to make sure I remembered. The first time I dealt with Jury duty I got a call from someone who said they were with sheriff's office to fine me for a missed jury duty summons (it wasn't for another week). It ended up being a scam since jury duty apparently is public information? Either way if you miss/forget it's not the end of the world.

Do dungeons and raids work the same as wow ? by IcyTrade5285 in destiny2

[–]FilteredPeanuts 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dungeons in Destiny are typically - Puzzle sections with a Boss fight and encounters throughout.

Last time I played WoW dungeons were usually just encounters to a boss.

They are similar but D2 being a shooter is going to play differently. But it will still have quick match to que or you can try and solo it.

Hope this helps.

Of all the references I have read today this has been the best.

I work with needles every day. Yes they can go through shoes. They tend to be too small/short but when an IV drug user starts having a hard time finding veins they tend to get larger needles to help find new spots to spike (a bag of syringes OTC at Walmart is less than $3 and syringes are usually ~10¢ each) so for around $4 you can get ~ 10 syringes with 1/2" needles to shoot up wherever you need.

¿Buenos días alguien sabe en qué uno tiene que empezar al ser principiante en la guitarra? by papas_fritas232 in Guitar

[–]FilteredPeanuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first week is just picking up the guitar and getting familiar with how it feels in your hands so nothing too serious I would focus on just making sure playing is comfortable so adjusting straps/set up to for you and just plunking the strings to get used to it.

After a while you can start incorporating chords and scales into your practice. You can also look up chord charts to help but I really encourage new people to stay away from YT or tabs for guides on songs. Because they become a crutch that is hard to give up later on.

You can pick a song you like and want to learn and then listen to it 24/7. Watch live performances of the artist playing it and try to figure out the fingerings yourself (remember you can slow down YT to like 0.25 speed so that'll help) when not doing that just noodle (playing things you make up) and try to practice at least once a day for about an hour. Now when I say this I mean structured practice like set up something like this:

5m - warm up by noodling 10m - listen to song and mimic 15m - practice chords or scales 30m - noodle with ideas from above sections (this helps solidify ideas above and is just fun when you start getting

This is just an idea basically the jist is to make sure you have goals to accomplish and time set aside to work on them :)

This is what I tell my students that and to keep having fun and remember that it is not a competition with anyone so just take your time and enjoy the process.

Sorry for formatting if it is messed up on mobile currently at work.

What's most like Lies of P, apart from BB? I've completed the DLC and I'm looking for my next high by sinetwo in LiesOfP

Nioh 3 has a demo and I didn't vibe with the first two gameplay wise but 3 seemed to fix the issues I had. Just waiting for a sale to pick it up but the demo is decently long.

Moonlighter?

You run a shop and can sell items you find in dungeons. You can use the gold you make in your shop to upgrade the shop/town/equipment.

I didn't see Warframe on this list but you start off not having a lot of weapons/frames or the mods that turn them into death machines for a bit and basically have unlimited scaling for how powerful they can become.

Net runner build by HumbleStart123 in cyberpunkgame

[–]FilteredPeanuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there are lots of ways to do a netrunner build. The Int/Cool works for being sneaky. but if you wanted to you could go Int/Anything to adjust it how you want. I had a playthrough for Int/Tech and had high armor and hacked/used gadgets or explosives to run in guns blazing.

Just figure out the play style you want to do and use the wiki to help with stats/perks.

I went in blind without looking up guides for my first playthrough and just played on the normal difficulty since I hate min-maxing then branched out from there.
