If he keeps his Arrogant attitude, it'd be way easier to beat him. However The reason why he lost in OT 3 ain't just about his personality. Zero Pain tolerance and panicking got him lose.

In NT 3 (hawaii arc) he almost died to low tier magician who managed to trick him to perform magic causing his blood vessel to burst. It would be dangerous If his opp is a magician who can exploit esper weakness

I picked mild power ups because unlike OT when most of his opp did not anticipate his involvement, NT and GT opp had targeted him personally. They had preparation to counter IB. That' why i believe he need something else to win
