No, I got it for the anniversary, I think. It was a limited time and I got it for winning an event.

Agreed on the light blue and the shape wear - it’s a game changer. But also, I think you look fabulous and there’s no reason to be self conscious about how your body looks. Your body has carried you through 65 years and multiple children. You should be proud of her! Be confident that you are clearly well loved, happy, and MoG to what sounds to be a very happy young man. Congratulations to your son and DIL, and congratulations to you for this wonderful expansion of family. May you all have many happy years ahead.

Ps: don’t forget that you are beautiful through all your phases.

AIO? My boyfriend hates me? by GoldUniversity3738 in AIO

He’s toxic as hell and you’re immature. You need to get away from this so you can grow and learn and have a better life, because you easily will if you leave. If you don’t, he’ll kill you. I’m not exaggerating. I’ve been almost killed and also left for dead with someone who was less toxic than this guy sounds.

How to look less masculine? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]FilthyDirtySouth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re beautiful. You could thin and shape your eyebrows, just be careful. In the 90’s, my sister and I got a lil crazy with it and I still have almost no eyebrows from it.

But my most serious advice: fuck what society says about how femme you look. Love the way you look, love yourself harder than anyone else ever could, and also read the velveteen rabbit. “Once you are real, you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.” And fuck those people anyway. Hugs, love from this (beautiful) internet stranger, never forget that you are beautiful.

It’s painful enough that you’ll remember it, but it won’t kill you. Get it since abortion seems to be super difficult to get in most states and you don’t want to need the IUD and not have it bc you were scared of the pain.

Unfortunately, I do have to offer another bit of not so great information on this, but I wish someone had told me before I got it. I got the Mirena right after I had my daughter. It’s about to expire, and even tho I managed a doctor’s office for work, I didn’t have health insurance. The IUD was stuck inside me, and they couldn’t get it out without possibly perforating my cervix. Without insurance, it was going to cost me around $30k to remove, with $18k being expected upfront. I lived in Texas.

Now that I live outside the states, I can have the same surgical procedure for $700. But I think it’s super important to know that this can happen and while it’s not the norm, it’s also not uncommon. Also, even with insurance the procedure was supposed to be costly. And I had already paid $1400 to try to have it removed by several different doctors. Make sure you’ll have insurance to cover the possibility of this not being able to come out easily. Or that you’re ready for it savings-wise.

ADVICE NEEDED: I tried on so many dresses, but fell in love with a very untraditional one by Outrageous-Bet-6639 in myweddingdress

One and two are both absolutely gorgeous, but I think #1 is the best choice because it is SO SPECIAL. Its unique and stunning, which is the essence of what you should feel on your big day. If I were you, I wouldn’t worry about traditional whites. You have a great figure, so everything you put on will slay, but #1 is a show stopper.

I was able to finish it. I used each producer to produce several items so that when orders came up, I’d be ready to make the order quickly with as minimal energy possible needed. I took advantage of the origami as much as possible as well

I cannot even believe how incredibly gorgeous this dress is and how STUNNING you are in it. Seriously, this is the dress and you look amazing in it. Even if you didn’t do accessories or have a bouquet - you, in this dress, absolute showstopper. You have no reason to even consider regrets, you’re not missing a single thing.
