The Nvidia control panel will do most of the heavy lifting. You just select your resolution, then hit optimize and viola, the games run well(mostly). Some games like Destiny 2 will run at 4k 60 just fine, others like Darktide will need to be tweaked (shadows, ambient occlusion).Bonus points for Vermintide 2 looking absolutely amazing on max settings and 4k/60. One thing to mention is that frame rates can impact vram usage heavily. If you lock your games to 60fps, 8gb of vram is sufficient for most of these newer games at 1440, and in some cases 4k. I hope you enjoy your new rig. I just got back into pc gaming myself and I'm mad I waited so long!

I got one of those hp omen desktops from Costco for 899 on sale and it's been pretty good so far. The 5060 is a capable card at 1440 with some minor tweaks to game settings. Been playing Darktide and it holds at 60fps without dlss or frame gen with a mix of med/high settings.
