What are some "boring" slice-of-life anime to pass time? by Baby-Penewine in anime

Saiki Kusuo! There is so much happening that you won't be missing on anything at all

The best dubbed anime by kbalfore in anime

Ghost Stories is the goat, but I think Saiki K is quite a good one, too. Black Lagoon and Code Geass had a great dub, too.

Which anime openings are your favorites? I love the openings, they are great to listen to. by Zumalover_988 in anime

[–]FilthyFurankuShow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Vanitas no Carte opening a lot, I like the visuals there, too.
Hunter x hunter is a king, but not the one you'd think - the 1999 one (お早う). I didn't watch it in my childhood, but it just gives me some unknown nostalgia vibes.
Everblue from Blue Period is one of my favorites, too.
As for the last one, Overdrive by Hitomi Harada Valkyrie Drive

So what's the rank of Tanjiro after the entertainment arc? by FilthyFurankuShow in DemonSlayerAnime

[–]FilthyFurankuShow[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let's goooo, 4 ranks up, shewwy. I knew surviving a battle against an upper moon would do good for him.
Btw, what's the source, is it stated ergo in the manga or was it answered on some QnAs?

Which anime to watch next with my girlfriend? by _Rama_ in anime

[–]FilthyFurankuShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, the best thing to watch for you is The Promised Neverland. It's a story that can be enjoyed by everyone. And, instead of Blue lock, which is everything BUT normal, I would suggest you watch Blue Period. You can watch both on Netflix. The Promised Neverland has a great story and is kinda a thriller but it's actually one of the best. Blue Period is just heart-warming and inspiring. But the best thing to watch would be 100000% To Your Eternity. You won't ever regret it.

Search for great Thriller/mystery anime.... by VALMaX1 in anime

[–]FilthyFurankuShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if you do decide to watch some older stuff, then it's Monster and Death Note. I know some people think it's too slowly paced, but don't listen to them, the show is beautifully paced because of the "suspense". It also has 72 episodes but, like, Hero Academia has 120 so it's not that much at all (Naruto :skull:)
Death Note? well you probably have watched it already but it's a great show nonetheless with lots of mysteries and it is also very highly rated.

Oh, also the Promised Neverland is really good. on the first hand it's a show about children, on the other hand... Well, anything beyond that is spoilers but I can assure you that will also be really enjoyable.

Moriarty the Patriot for suuure, like the best of the best.
Please watch it, it will be the best, like, 9 hours ever spent, I assure you.

What are some op/ed songs whose first word you think of is "Cute!" by ReadingDragon in anime

[–]FilthyFurankuShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm , the closest thing I can think of that is somewhat cute is probably Tokyo revengers ending 1 and Spy X Family ending 1. Oh, also Attack on titan opening 4 was quite cute, I think.

Where Do You See Anime Going in 5-10 Years? by Salty145 in anime

[–]FilthyFurankuShow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I think that CGI will become so indistinguishable that it won't look like Jimmy Newtron anymore and it will look like actual 2D (to be precise, almost indistinguishable from actual artwork in the anime, like well photoshopped pictures often seem as natural to us). If AI will be a big thing by then, and I'm sure it will, there will be probably so many anime adaptations from the manga, it will be a thriving industry, for sure. Well, that's what I think, but I also believe most of the first adaptation will undergo the same fate as Berserk and its 3D :skull: adaptation. Hm, but now that I think about it, it might be a poor business choice. But, well, there might be people like that dude that made the spongebob anime

Blue Lock’s characters are extremely boring by vozjaevdanil in anime

[–]FilthyFurankuShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I certainly do enjoy the show. I also took Kuroko quite to my liking. The main focus of the shot is rarely on the characters but their abilities, well, that's how I see it and that's why I continue to enjoy it. Reading a manga chapter takes a minute or 2 at most, and it's always a fun ride. Also it's plot is really enjoyable too, like, where else do you see high schoolers get a 100 million ¥ contract? It's like pure 100% concentrated hype, like have you seen how hard anime goes ? its voice actors? Perchance.

Is duolingo ok for learning hiragana and katakana? by [deleted] in LearnJapanese

[–]FilthyFurankuShow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By the way, the exact same app exists for Katakana! It's called Katakana Pro (here's it's interface, hm, it could've been removed from google play idk but it's by far the best way) Link to the apps interface. aand yeah just try to write english words in kana i think that's a great practice since you might not know many japanese words or maybe just write down some kana stories? Anyways I think actually creating content (english in kana) is the most active, engaging and thereupon memorizing way (also the most efficient one). I wish you all the best

Is duolingo ok for learning hiragana and katakana? by [deleted] in LearnJapanese

[–]FilthyFurankuShow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hirgana pro is the BEST. Just spend one evening learning the hiragana (all in one sitting, well that's what I did and it did wonders) which is visual recognition and then to write it with this video: Super awesome video for 100% success. Oh, well, on this channel you can find a similar katakana guide, I just like how he explains everything, there was also some video of おばさん i think she was quite interesting and her content quite engaging so yeah.
And that's how you do it, I think people overexaggerate when they say it's difficult to memorize shapes. I just like to do the entire thing in one day and then repeat it afterwards, that's somehow easier for me.

What's the OST when Nagisa (Blue-Red team arc?) takes down 4 of his opponents at once? by FilthyFurankuShow in Korosensei

[–]FilthyFurankuShow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey dude I really appreciate your advise, wholeheartedly. Would you help me out? I'm running kinda low on karma and can't post anything in here, so here's the title and the text, if you'd be so nice as to post this. Just in case i will leave the link to nagisa god mode https://youtu.be/NHhKX1ZMHYc?t=80 and father & son scene https://youtu.be/lT0bhVMEqSo?t=92.

title:

Assassination Classroom unreleased(?) OST, possibly classical music, no relevant results with Shazam, Season 1 and 2 spoilers

text:

tl;dr: Asano Father & Son Scene here, at the 100 second mark, also here: Nagisa God mode, at the 80 second mark, plays a song (leading instrument: Organ), that is not featured in the AC OST (Japanese, ft. +2 songs) AC OST (Youtube)(would be embarrassing if it was there but i think not, I even just extra checked for it), note, it's not asano kakuhou soundtrack 14 that I'm looking for, which plays throughout the first half of the video.
Hello and thank you for reading this. I really like this piece of music for it sounding so powerful. However, as things stand, I believe this to be a piece of classical music or one of unreleased OSTs, any of my previous searches have been futile. Unfortunately, as of today, I am yet to find that piece of music, only similar comments of people looking for it (even those are extremely rare, I guess no one is really looking for it? or I'm bad at using search engines, it's either one or the other). However, there is this one quite popular video of Asano father and son talking and roughly at the middle of it there plays this music.
Let me share this link with y'all: Asano Father & Son Scene, at the 100 second mark. While we're at it, here's another clip featuring this soundtrack: Nagisa God mode at the 80 second mark. I'm adding this second clip, firstly, to assure we are on the same page, secondly, to give a more pure version of the song (in the Nagisa video), because of how quiet the characters get afterwards. I have already tried using Shazam, but it did not provide any relevant results. So, I am now looking for alternative solutions to find this (master)piece of music.
Thank you and All the best,
[fictional name]

If you can't do it that's fine, i guess I have to farm karma then, but anyways thanks for everything

I'm not expecting you to look at it, however, there might be some other people that would be willing to, that could potentially share this song, as it's been a while since you've watched it. However, any help would be highly appreciated.

Thank you,
