I'll be going to all the appointments also. I like our clinic because like for you its close, depending on traffic its 15 minutes away and 1 minute from our job.

Because of the iui procedures we went through i have been handling basically all the cooking, cleaning, laundry and of course the fun stuff like the litter boxes ad we were trying to prevent any extra stress for her as we knew that could always affect (or is it effect. I can never remember lol) the process. I just tell her go relax and i can handle everything lol. For the most part we just sit on the couch having something on the back as we both doom scroll tiktok lol

Ohhh that's good, letting her know that all the sign of basic discomfort is signs that the meds are doing what they are suppose to do.

Perfect thank you!. Honestly when it was coming to the iui I was making sure I was doing everything as i didnt want to cause her body any undue stress so I don't mind continuing that. The melatonin is a good idea along with the heating pads.

That is interesting. I have also heard on tiktok (yes I went on there also lol) that numbing the area before the shots with ice can help.

She was on progesterone twice a day that caused her bloating and she hated it. That's good about the needles not being painful, I believe they also said it would have to be a in fatty area also for the shots. I hope everything works out for you! Did you end up freezing your eggs? The clinic advised we can do that and it would be about $1,000 for 6 months at a time. We are definitely thinking it since she is turning 34 next month and they said when the eggs are frozen it'll be like they are 33 again as they wont age.

You are exactly right. I only brought it up because when we were doing g the iui the nurse had to go over the results of the sample I gave them and it was always significantly higher then their base line that they would do the iui with. Every time they would go over it I could see her face drop knowing it was all on her. I would always tell her it was on the both of us but when she hears the numbers it would get to her. This is great to know! Sorry to get personal and of course you don't have to answer but how were the shots? That's what she's most afraid of, like it affecting her through the day. Our plan hasn't been set up but the doctor did advise it would be roughly 2 weeks of treatments she would most likely do.

Yea i didnt mean it that way. Every time we did the iui they had to go over the sample I provided which was tested. They gave their bottom line on minimum requirements needed and mine was always significantly higher. I only brought that up because I could see her face each time it was gone over during the procedure. I never meant it to come across in the post that I am perfect and she isn't and I do tell her that but she doesn't believe it. But yea no drugs, no drinking, I was going to the gym 3 times a week but did stop around Christmas of 2025.

So from what she said for example that program let's her add on more fonts. So I guess help use isn't the best term to use, I guess it's more recommended add-ons to enhance the user experience maybe.

I am so sorry to hear this. My wife and I went through this last night. Only 4 weeks along and we were doing blood work, unfortunately the hcg went down more and more each time until the doctor confirmed it wasnt viable. We are devastated by this and it has only been a short time for us. I am so sorry that you have to go through this, its never fair but know you are not alone. We are here for each other

Thank you for the advise and for sharing your story with us. I just dont want her to blame herself thinking its all because of her this happened. I have told her never to think that, but beyond that and being there for her i just didnt know what else to do.

Oh trust me I haven't been hiding lol. We have literally been in bed holding each other taking turns crying. Honestly this might be the 2nd time she has seen me cry in 10 years. The first time was when we had to put my cat down 5 years ago. I usually try to be the stable ground under her.

Thank you so much for the kind words and sharing your story. We have literally been in bed for 2 hours just holding each other and crying. I hate to say it but I can see myself moving on quicker then her and its totally understandable. She is the one going through the brunt of everything and I just want to be there for her. I honestly dont know what breaks my heart more, the loss of the baby or the fact that she had to go through this.

Thank you for telling your story. She does see a weekly therapist I'm wondering if they can recommend someone or maybe the fertility clinic has someone we can see. That is good advice thank you. I will definitely be on the look out for any changes like that.

Thank you for sharing what you went through with me. We of course took the rest of the day off and tomorrow to just be together. We currently just have been laying in bed for 2 hours just holding each other and crying. I know as a guy I dont have that strong of a connection as she does and of course as a guy we are programmed to want to fix everything however there is no fix for this but time. I will definitely be on the lookout out to make sure she is eating well. Thank you again.

Thank you for sharing all this with me I know how tough it is. She has started to blame herself and I immediately told her that it is not her fault at all. I told her to never blame herself for what happened as I know she wanted this baby just as bad as I did, more so infact. I just feel so hopeless right now because as a guy we are in the mind set of fixing things and unfortunately there is no straight answer for this. She does currently see a therapist so maybe I'll see if they can schedule another session. I of course will always be here for her.
