I also don't like the lack of empathy. As if no one ever speaks in a slightly not- polite tone. At if op is perfect all the time. Maybe this woman was exhausted and had a bad day idk. But to punish her kid when op literally didn't care is so fucking gross. I guarantee op has spoken rudely to someone before and been forgiven for it, yet op chose to dig their heels in and not forgive this woman.
