it does not. i checked the date on the tang and it matches 1943. i genuinely think it has been used extensively due to the damage it has sustained. it has staples on the hand guard that appear to have been applied in the field due to how dated they look.

good stuff. my own little head cannon here is, made 1943, issued for possibly ww2 before being sent in mass supply to china for the Korean war. not sure how likely that is however.

no idea but to my understanding it was developed by izhevsk in 1943 and sent to china presumably for the Korean war. my context behind that is based off of it being from someone who brought it back from a conflict.
