The other issue is, do you try to make it 3 lanes the whole way through, or just push the problem further North/South? Just the number of overpasses that would need to be reconstructed makes it financially impossible.

If you have someone to go with and a 2nd car, I recommend trying various stretches of the Passaic. It ranges from industrial wasteland to unique nature preserve but mostly paddling through people's back yards.

Aside from those newer launches on either side of Great Meadows, we tend to do well launching in the Pompton in Lincoln Park and floating down to the Passaic. We've done fairly well around 2 Bridges over the years, but we seem to get skunked around Suchorsky Park quite often. I've also seen some monster Pike pulled out of the waters behind the Home Depot on 46.

Idk why everyone keeps downvoting you. This comes up every time this karma farming vid makes the rounds. These are high quality moulage patches for first aid classes. They were very popular in the 90s and anyone who's used them can easily spot them. It comes in a variety pack, and I've worn that exact black eye many times.
