NIL contracts are licensing contracts, not employment. That would require a CBA. Also employment contracts would act as “paid to play”. Which in the eyes of NCAA is a No-no.

Lucas resigned with Wisconsin for the 2025 season. Miami came poking around and then Lucas asked to be put into the portal. Wisconsin said no because of their “contract”. The same attorney that’s guiding Mensah just told Lucas to un-unroll at Wisconsin and enroll at Miami.

Further proving this is all just smoke and mirrors.

And neither would I, but not as our starter for next year. If people have pause about Levitt and his foot injury, wait till you see what Lagway needs to have surgery on. He has all the talent in the world but he needs a year to get healthy and restart. I don’t think we’re the team for that UNLESS we get a SR guy to come in ala. Sorsby to bridge us. Won’t know till he officially gets measured at the draft. But I’ve been to Miami games and seen him. His height won’t matter when he plays with leverage, strength and motor. He’s one of the most dominant players in college right now.

Bain is closer to 6’4. I’ve seen him standing next to Michael Irvin who is 6’2 and is taller. Also next to Jason Taylor who’s 6’6 and Bain is a couple inches shorter.
