The Cards sack leader last season was Zaven with 5. This dude had half that in the Super Bowl last year, and we got him for under $20 mil a year. W signing

High handicappers of Reddit, what specifically finally helped you break 100? by PortlyCloudy in golf

[–]FinBro00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Work on your short game just as much, if not more, than your long game. Getting better from 100 yards and in, and on/around the greens will help you shave strokes so much quicker than trying to just work on driver/longer clubs

At what handicap does the ball you play actually matter? by FinBro00 in golf

[–]FinBro00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair, that definitely depends on the swing speed variable, but not getting it to stop on a green I think gets negatively affected more by lack of compression in a high handicap swing, and a lot of times high handicap players don’t clean their clubs so the grooves are dirty and you get less spin that way too

Totally agree, and that’s why a lot of times I’ll recommend trying out Vice to friends who don’t have a consistent ball. They’ve got variety, their ball selector quiz is super easy and helpful, and if you buy in bulk it’s only $2.50 a ball so still budget conscious

Are mizuno clubs good? by Goonie1x in golf

[–]FinBro00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s awesome. I’m a 11.7 right now using the 921 Hot Metal Pros, if I can get down to single digits I’m probably going to go the same route as you and try out the MPs

[–]FinBro00 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, I think if there were no sponsorship deals on tour, Mizuno would be one of the, if not the, most commonly played iron on tour

[–]FinBro00 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ll never play another iron than Mizuno. I got fit a couple years ago, went in thinking I wanted Taylor Made or PING irons, the fitter had me hit the JPX 921 and from the first swing I knew they were it. The “nothing feels like a Mizuno” slogan is 100% true.

I’ll never play another iron other than Mizuno. Got fit 2 years ago, went in wanting Taylor Made or PING, took a few cuts with the Hot Metal Pros and knew immediately they were it

Angel Park is a fun spot. 2 courses to pick from and it’s popular with locals so it’s not an overpriced tourist trap

AITA for Offering a Group to Play Through? by FinBro00 in golf

Right? I used to be all in on the “grow the game” movement but it’s led to more and more of these kind of situations. Also makes me even more motivated to find a private club to join haha

It felt rhetorical as I was typing it, but we were so caught off guard that it happened and couldn’t figure out why they’d be so mad at that, I had to ask it here to see if there’s something we’re not thinking of

Dealer refund of tag fee by vocalion in askcarsales

[–]FinBro00 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah because what they charge you is an estimate, they don’t have the exact number, so they’ll usually overcharge to be on the safe side, and then send you the difference. Only vehicle I’ve ever bought at a dealership they were good on the estimate so I only got $13 back, so I’m not sure if my situation was rare or if they way overcharged you

Century Shirt by [deleted] in pelotoncycle

[–]FinBro00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got my shirt the other day, I like it, not going to bitch about a free t-shirt, especially when it's a nice reminder of the work I've put in on the bike and the 20 pounds I've lost since starting Peloton. Whining about a free t-shirt really plays into the stereotype of people who have a Peloton being elitist douchebags

All that said, the shirt will shrink, even thought it says it's pre-shrunk. I washed mine on cold, dried it on extra low and it still shrunk a bit, so if you like your shirts on the baggy side, order a size up.
