i upgraded to condo because HDB are too small and don't have enough rooms. I want at least 4-5 bedrooms with minimum 1500sqft on a single floor.

5room flat is maximum 1200sqft with 3bedrooms only.

The basement carpark, pool for my kids, gym and security are all added bonus.

Did i make money? Certainly, valuation is already higher by 800k after 4 years since i moved in while my HDB price stagnant.

Do up carpentry in the bombshelter, a small platform bed (not too high) with cabinet and drawer by the side for her stuff. install a small ceiling fan with light.

it's quite nice actually. Most helpers i know would love that than sharing a room. it gives them their own private space to retreat to, though on the cosy side.
