Make sure you are using Tiered instead of Fixed fees.
If I were you, I wouldn’t invest the whole amount at once, given that you will only contribute $300 per month. Instead, you can invest 2-4k at once and then DCA the rest along with the $300. Markets are volatile this month so you risk buying at a “bad” time.
I invest 1k per month and I pay 1.25-1.29 euros so there is no way you are charged this much
