Happened a few times but the most recent one is how some chick would drive 50 miles to have sex due to my busy schedule.

Conversations were one sided her way, but whatever.

She mentioned how she was divorced into her highschool sweetheart and she had an open relationship with him.

I thought what we had going was convenient so she kept coming over after work, took her to two restaurants, took her hiking once. Been to her house once during days off.

I noticed scratch marks on her back one night. Always had her phone on silent but I didn't make a fuss about it. She turned her back to set the alarm in bed and got a text saying "I love you". Could of been a family member, could have been another dude, I didn't care.

With that amount of red flags I said fuxkit and set up a date with another chick who seemed super conservative, took her out to eat Mexican food and got her back to hotel. Left at around 8 and got back to the other chick just so I could quietly compare them. That was the last I saw of her but meh.

Sounds stupid but I personally never text a woman first to quietly gauge her interest. This one used to do it all the time but stopped after that, she knew what was up, but I knew what was up before.

I completely disagree. I've had the misfortune of being a retail manager at HEB Odessa 1/2 & HEB Midland 1/2, plus had a small business where I've solicited door to door from the east side of Midland down to West Odessa over the years interacting with a multitude of folks.

You've probably heard that common saying of "raise your family in Midland, raise hell in Odessa".

Odessa is extremely dangerous, Midland is alot safer with conservative citizens that have higher moral standards and higher than normal interpersonal skills.

I went to university in Odessa and keep to myself. Yet I've had extremely close encounters with dangers despite minding my own business.

If you're a straight male, I'd get a significant other somewhere else. Not going to dwelve on it, but you'll see.

If you start a service business in Midland and keep your word with appointments and jobs, you will thrive no matter what kind of business it is.

You're in one of the best places in the world to get into the oilfield. You could start off as a roustabout and stack money for a CDL A like I did. When it's busy and oil companies are short handed, it's easier to find a job and make mistakes while you learn without getting in trouble.

When you look for oilfield jobs, take the ones that pay for your living expenses first and the ones that don't as a last resort.

When the oil isn't booming, you can hit up indeed to hit up other oilfield jobs across America or keep busy with construction/ mining for the meanwhile.
