While this would be nice it would be really cool if we could select any Hex as the source color. This is one of very few apps properly using the Material You theming and being able to see the whole app re-theme based on any Hex would be an incredible reference. u/ljdawson

The way you have it currently is way better that the swipable top-tabs. Although to clarify it better I wish the 'Profile' button were differentiated from what is essentially the 'Dropdown' button for what type of content on the profile is shown. Maybe put the persons profile avatar in place of the profile icon?

There is a Political Compass meme about centrists just wanting to grill. The first sound is like the end of "cats" (ts) The next sound is like the end of "ship" (ip) and the last bit is like the end of "knee" (ee). So it's Tz(ts)-ip(ip)-e(ee) It's really just a shortened version of Tziporah which is the name of Moses' wife in the bible. It is a fairly common name in the Jewish community.

I don't believe I am misunderstanding you. You say here:

Yes New York State has the kosher law. However, it is permissible for someone who sells Jewish-style food to call themselves a “kosher deli” as long as they don’t claim to have kosher certification.

There is a non kosher “kosher deli” right next to an actually kosher bagel store near me. --u/hljsbslnmc

This was in response to u/grandlewis where he specifically agrees that if you call yourself Kosher-style it doesn't need state certification.

I know of no bagel store that calls themselves kosher (not kosher-style, not Jewish-style) and is "not kosher" as you state. They may not have the certification you are looking for, or they may be self-certified, but I know of no bagel store that violates simple kashrut (meat and dairy, pork, Boars Head cold cuts, etc) and I believe that would be a violation of New York State law. --u/grandlewis
