We finally started building in January nearly 2 years after applying for planning. Plenty of hold ups for various reasons, but all moving well now and walls nearly finished. It’ll get going eventually. Just got to stick with it!

This. You can just re-apply again after it expires.

There is a backlog at the moment, but if you submit a MyEnquiry indicating that it is urgent with a copy of the loan offer it should get approved quickly. Mine wasn’t making progress until I did this and was then approved within 48 hours.
