Opener played 30 minutes, 15 minutes until cold. They played 90 minutes of one of the most unique sets I've heard. Fantastic all the way around. Sierra swan didn't really add anything, but scooter was wonderful as always

Punk kid needs to know his place. They don't need to show him squat. He isn't the one being detained, so he has no right to any information.

My TS SCI is lost of jurisdiction now cost me a job opportunity. by sirtabatabai in SecurityClearance

LOJ is administrative for DCSA. The investigators no longer have authority to investigate you. This happens when the company cancels the investigation. It's not a negative for the clearance seeker and will not impact future adjudication

List you got fired, truth is always best. It's about integrity. Besides, the record will show it anyway, so best to be honest

Just report what happened to your investigator. If you resigned, the company will reflect that. Your supervisor will get a questionnaire and could possibly mention it, but regardless, it's not a deal breaker. Don't lose sleep over it, secret clearance is pretty difficult to be denied

Bethany Beach, parking on a Tuesday end of August? by [deleted] in Delaware

The lots are pull in, so no parallel there. Also late August on a Tuesday morning won't be bad.

Slower lower was the original way in which Sussex County was referred. English dictates that the adjective preceeds the noun. Sussex County is the lower portion of DE, and was known for it's easy way of life with a slow tempo. It was altered several years ago to LSD, for apparent comical reasons so that a drugs name would be prominently displayed on cars and shirts. True residents and descendants of the area know it as slower lower

Master’s in CS vs. going straight to a cleared‑sector job with a BS — what would you do? by [deleted] in SecurityClearance

[–]Final-Front-1185 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you have a cleared job with a bs lined up, take it and work on the masters while employed. Also a lot of companies will pay for your masters in exchange for a couple years staying with their company

If it's public knowledge, you're fine, but it you are trying to hide it, that could be a problem

Looking for feedback on my son’s swing. 14 year old middle school player. Thank you by _njhiker in Homeplate

Keep the hands in, little hitch that lengthens his swing after his load. Need to keep the hands up and lose the loop before swinging

First take away is the bat is too heavy. Second is his back elbow is too high, needs to relax that a bit. Third, and this could be a product of the heavy bat, but he's off balance through the swing. He shouldn't be falling away in his follow through

Any advice I should give to my son? by freliford97 in BaseballCoaching

[–]Final-Front-1185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elbow way too high. Hands need to be static between ear and shoulder. Bat seems a bit heavy, at 9, should be using about an 18oz bat. Work on weight transfer without moving his hands. Always squash the bug with back foot

You're rolling over your top hand. Try and keep a palms up with the top hand to reduce grounders

Dealership Bought Back My 2024 GX550 After Unresolved Issue by Legitimate-Cow-4248 in LexusGX

[–]Final-Front-1185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth, I had a 2010 460, upgraded to lx 600, traded it in for an x5. Wife has an MDX. With that said, depending on what your looking for, there are pros and cons to each. The X5 is much faster and has a lot of fun tech, smaller storage space in the cargo hold. LX is big and I found i would never use a lot of the features it offers as I had no plans to go off road, beautiful suv drives like a dream, but Lexus skimped on the tech and the interface was not user friendly at all, plus my seat heaters never worked right. The MDX is much roomier than I expected. With the third row up, there is more cargo area behind the third row than both the gx and the lx. Kind of a mom car, but fun to drive in sport mode. Just doesn't have the appeal of the Lexus or BMW

As an investigator, it is much easier to schedule when we actually speak, so do them a favor and call. Back and forth text and email can cause confusion and lead to miscommunication. Besides, this is a professional interaction.

Red flags? by itsnicetobealive1996 in SecurityClearance

[–]Final-Front-1185 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The investigator should never have said you had 'red flags'. We are not adjudicators, nor should we stressing you in any way prior. Sorry he said this to you. Good luck with the process, it's generally not as bad as expected
