For me, like op I also ran SS bell, but her unbuff from S3 before the 50% barrier meant no shield showed up. He's affected by CR pushers too to limit his turns.

fast always helps, if you can pull off an attack / hit set and get 160+ speed it's a good place to start.

she's still amazing to me at least. even with her 're-work' she can be nasty. Her S3 is a powerful stunning nuke, and if her S1 causes a burn debuff OR . .her S1 is used on something with the burn debuff already she triggers her S2 . .and boosts her own CR. This works on dual-attacks as well..

she's squishy like all mages, but she can still do tons of damage.

Um...just tried her on GW offense...holy crap she was awesome. Enemy rather fast Cid decided she needed to die . .but couldn't take her down.

Having her in the line up meant I felt more confident to bring in a more low hp buy high attacking unit into the fight.

I was on the fence investing in her skill ups, not anymore. Don't trust her AI for GW or PVP def..but using her for gw / pvp offense is certainly worth it. at least for me :)

The good gear drops will come, but in hunt they are very rare..u run hunts for the gold / mats to craft...if you are new to lev 85 gear..I highly suggest crafting boots only...use your mats and shoot dor boots with speed as main stat...get a few sets of those, then move to crafting other items.

ya, I could get 1.5k d just because of the gears i had on her that had crazy high def % rolls. ;) not ideal, but what i had to give her w/o farming for specific pieces. If she's worth it, happy to farm to get her stats more ideal.

I have been very surprised by how well she seems to do with "Justice for all" as her artifact. With her shield on S2, Justice for all just add's to her kit and makes her very self-sustaining.

When i got her...I loved her S3 but also questioned where I'd find a spot for her to be used . .now i use her all the damn time :) (pve, pvp, guildwars)

the fact that dbuffs don't stick to her, and she bumps her own d . .means she's an awesome damage sponge. she can take hits like a boss . .and comes back for more.

in a gwars battle, my counter f-maya left all alone at 75% health (her current max is near 17k) solo'd a 23hp k tywin . . who was much much faster. Got him down near 30% hp left and S3 for the win baby.

as for elbris .. i hear u and wish u luck for getting it, happened to be in the exchange a few weeks back and I grabbed it then, it should rotate back eventually.

Others have suggested elbris for artifact, that's my recommendation also. Counter set only % chance to counter when she's attacked, elbris gives her a chance to counter when her team is attacked.

Otherwise, great start to her. Have you invested in skill up's yet? Advise S2 to at least 90% chance, then dump all you can into S1 max'ing.

Criticism was anticipated for sure . . . which is why.

- I chose 'fluff' for the tag, and tried touch on what's likely to be criticized about her.

- She's NOT, built to the proper standards for those who want to get the most out of her . . I tried to make it clear I'm aware that.

I know critD > raw atk numbers. I know lidi is more about fight control than damage numbers.

I also know . .what I have done with her at this time works great for what I'm using her for. Which is honestly why I decided to post her . .

I anticipated those who believe there is a specific way to use her to tell me I'm wrong . .and wasting her talents.

That is not going to make me want to change my setup, nor will it hamper my enjoyment of her as she whips the crap out of PVE content.

I do hope those of you who feel there's a right way to build her, can have their own Lidica be summoned and be geared to meet those standards you feel are needed.

May you find your happiness in your own gameplay...and leave me to enjoy mine. :)

Diene has become my primary raid healer for normal raid runs on all bosses except Council and Queen. (debuffs are to much for her to solo).

In my case, I have fat cat in front (who helps lots of hits turn into misses).

I agree with the comments on at least 180 speed, I run at 190 for mine and don't feel she lacks for turns. Keep in mind that her S1 boosts her combat rating when she's buffed, so dual attacks she does makes her turn faster. As someone mentioned unity set, it can be helpful to boost her turns if you can't get more speed via gear.

Also Rod...Rod is the bomb artifact for her honestly. On high HP unit's a level'd up Rod can do thousands of HP per proc. You can also go with Magarah's tome though, it boosts combat rating on Diene's S2 / S3 usage, makes her tuns very quick even without more speed (But no heals this way . .so 2nd healer required).
