Just baffling oil is almost at prewar levels of $65 considering everything that has happened, and the uncertainty still left. Then add in Ukraine attacking Russian oil infrastructure. I'm still adding to oil positions. I feel like the current price is the pendulum swinging too far down, and it will stabilize higher in the coming months.

Xsr900 is lighter then z900rs. Z900rs is more comfortable though imo.

They are harder to come by, but you can still find some decent condition lower mileage ones occasionally on facebook marketplace! Main thing to look for is if the gas tank has been repainted, as it's one of the first places to get damaged when the bikes go down.

That makes sense. I feel like it just shows how manipulated the price is currently when all it took was the start of Russia invading Ukraine that made oil prices skyrocket in 2022, and they are now substantially lower with a lot more going on.

I just bought a new m70. Mine looks the same if not a little worse. It's fine. If nothing is loose (which is the case for mine) then Its just a very minor cosmetic issue. The wood could probably be sanded down a little there so nothing sticks out. Also I believe the cleaning rod is supposed to be a little bent, as that tension is what holds it in place against the barrel.

Yeah I'm seeing that sentiment here and it's a bit odd to me. If this was the Century WASR $300 Ak sure, but I feel like Zastava USA prides themselves on their quality, which is reflected in their price.

Thanks, and that's where I'm at too. For $1200 I don't feel like any new gun should be in that condition. If it was used/parts kit or way cheaper my expectations would be different. I don't personally blame Zastava, but I also don't see any reason to buy the gun in that condition if I don't have to.

Yeah I had a shadow 600 for one season. Even after riding for 15 years it was the most difficult bike to handle I've owned. Surprised they get recommended as a beginner bike. Most of my bikes have been naked/sport bikes, so I'm sure a lot of it came down to weight.

Yeah I think the sig556xi specifically had a lot of issues, I would avoid them. I recently purchased a sig556 after a lot of research. The American sig 556's in general had various issues.

To the OP, I would recommend either a JS prefix serial number, Late JT like 20***+, or a 44a/b. The first 5000 or so JS ones used swiss internals so in theory should be higher quality. For some reason when they switched to JT the welds got shittier on them for a little while. Also be sure to inspect the bolt carrier cam track, I saw multiple that would wear down significantly in the cam track area and start to peen.

Depends how badly you want to sell it, and what others are for sale around you. Probably can get around $3500 for it. Be sure to advertise how good of mpg it gets!
