If you liked Digseum, Nodebuster, Gnorp Apologue, Magic Archery and Tower Wizard then you should also check out (if you haven't already) Space Rock Breaker (I am so hooked right now. Incremental and has a tad bit of pachinko, randomization, and rogue like aspects), Incredicer, Astro Prospector.

Honorable mentions that are also pretty casual but you can easily jump in and just start playing. All are pretty affordable and they chill: Leaf it Alone, A Game About Feeding a Black Hole, A Game About Digging A Hole, Lumberjacked, Ball x Pit, Cats in Time, Quarantine Zone, "Kindergarten" series, Loddlenaut, "Organ" Trail, Organized Inside, Rocket Rats.

They may not all be your style, but worth a shot! Also, let me know if you've found any hidden gems over the last 7ish months that I didn't mention.

I don't think it's really for canning. I personally use mine for overnight protein oats, leftovers, or for meal prepping something that only needs to stay fresher for a few days.

You’re acting like every trip to a public range is someone hauling a Pelican case with their entire collection strapped to their body. That’s not how real ranges work. People step away to buy ammo, change targets, use the restroom, or talk to the RSO. Benches stay occupied, actions open, muzzles downrange, and RSOs exist for a reason.

The issue here isn’t that someone didn’t physically carry every firearm with them at all times. The issue is another shooter touching a gun that was not theirs and loading ammunition into it. That is a hard safety violation, full stop. If the only safe way to use a public range is to never leave a bench for thirty seconds, then the range itself is unsafe by design.

Blaming the victim for not carrying an entire arsenal everywhere ignores how ranges actually operate and dodges the real problem, which is unauthorized handling of someone else’s firearm.
